Hello parents!
As many of you know we have
changed our name and our logo! As
you can see the newsletter has a new
look as well. I am now creating the
newsletter each month and hope to
bring you all the current information
in an easy to read and fun format! As
your new President for the 2012-2013

meeting each of you and seeing your
families join us for some exciting and
fun events that we have planned,
including some great speakers lined
up for our monthly Parent Events
speaking on hot parenting topics. It’s
going to be a fun and exciting year!
Wishing you all a happy and safe

men and women who sacrifice to
defend our freedom and our country!
God bless,

Happy Fathers Day, Dads!

LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO SERVE?
We are all given different talents, and if you are looking to get connected and use them in some way, I would love to talk with
you! We have several positions on our board that have not yet been filled. Now when I say Board, don’t be intimidated!
Children’s Parties involves simply helping plan or prepare for our events or at the event. We have over 100 moms and it takes a
lot for one person to prepare for our events. I am looking for several that could help me in this area! It would be for our Fall
Festival, Annual Egg Hunt, and Silent Auction. Extreme moms could use an outgoing mom to plan some fun places to venture
out to in the North DFW area, such as rock climbing. I know we are all very busy, but these positions would require a little
extra time from you, but would make a world of difference for our kids and our organization. Please give this some thought and
contact Megan Dishaw at [email protected] to help out or learn more. Thank you so much for your consideration!

DON’T JUST
DREAM IT...DO IT!
Being a mommy is hard work!
We selflessly dedicate our time
to raising and encouraging our
children, supporting our
husbands, keeping schedules,
running to school and playdates,
and making sure the whole
house continues to run
smoothly! Often times we put
ourselves last, and we should
remind ourselves to do
something fun for us! We have
Moms Night Out, Bunco nites,
and extreme outings that give
you a chance to relax, have a
glass of wine, and enjoy some
girl time to chat and have fun!
