We are excited to announce the 24th Annual Avila Charity Tennis Tournament to be held on
April 8-10, 2016. This year’s event will benefit Starting Right, Now. Starting Right, Now is
a non-profit organization in South Tampa whose mission is to end homelessness for youth through oneon-one mentoring, by providing a stable home, obtaining employment, teaching financial literacy and life

This tournament has become one
of the premier tennis events in the Tampa Bay area. The ACTT has raised over one million dollars
through the years, all of which has been donated to local Tampa charities with a focus on children. We
look forward to continuing to grow and contribute to the community.
The 2015 tournament was once again a great success. With the generous support of our sponsors,
participants, and community, it was a record breaking year in funds raised. More than 160 sponsors and
guests attended the Friday night dinner and auction, and over 400 attended the weekend festivities and
watched high level tennis.
This year, the draw for the tennis tournament is divided into nine divisions:
Men’s 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5 Doubles, Women’s 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0 Doubles and a Men’s Open Doubles
Invitational. A Friday night Sponsor Dinner at Avila Golf & Country Club will feature a sit-down dinner and
open bar as well as a live and silent auction. All players, sponsors and patrons are welcome to the
Saturday evening courtside party which hosts exciting tennis and great food in a relaxed setting.

We need your help! On April 8-10, 2016, Avila Golf & Country Club will host the 24th Annual Avila Charity Tennis
Tournament to benefit Starting Right, Now. The mission of Starting Right, Now is to end homelessness for youth
through one-on-one mentoring, by providing a stable home, obtaining employment, teaching financial literacy/life skills,
and promoting educational achievement. Starting Right, Now serves homeless youth in Hillsborough County. With a
95% high school graduation rate and, this year, propelling 100% of their students to secondary education, SRN is ending
the generational cycle of homelessness and poverty, one child at a time. To learn more, please go to

The Friday night sponsor dinner and auction will take place on April 8, 2016 at Avila Golf & Country Club with over 175
attendees anticipated. A gift certificate, item, or service to be used in the live or silent auction will assist us with
our fundraising efforts.
