Message from the Vice Chancellor
It is a matter of high satisfaction that Delhi Technological University continues
to be one of the highly sought after institutions for admissions to its engineering and
management programmes.
With immense pride and content, I present to you the second batch of Delhi
School of Management – Delhi Technological University’s two year programme in
Management, designed specifically for students with remarkable track records in the
field of engineering academia as well as in the corporate world.
The present batch of MBA has been selected using rigorous criteria like an
excellent CAT score, a proven academic and professional record commanding respect,
and a thoroughly incisive interview which explored various dimensions of a student's
personality. Thus we have assembled a group of sixty bright future managers drawn
from all parts of the country.
The course has been purposefully designed to be rigorous, demanding
and fast paced so that students are taken out of their comfort zones and they gain
capabilities to cause and manage change with ease and stand firm on the sound
foundations of their ethical and professional moral values.
The course is a journey in self-discovery as students are constantly made
to delve deeper, and push themselves harder, exhorted by an experienced faculty,
on critical and challenging problems from the business arena. Thus gradually, the
course carves out leaders who think like individuals of action and act like individuals
of thought.
The present batch of DSM has been equipped with all the keenness and
tools required to confront the challenges of middle and senior management roles. I am confident that as visionaries and leaders of the future, they will accelerate your
businesses and propel the momentum of a vibrant economy like ours.
I wish them a very best in their endeavours!

Term Projects
Team Activities
Case Studies
Guest Lecture Series
DSM strives to find the best possible match between the company's
needs and students' skills, experience and career interests. Term projects help to match this void. Term Projects are to be
submitted for every subject taught in each semester separately.
This is carried out under the guidance of their respective faculty
member. Students have the liberty to choose the topic of their
interest but relevant to their respective specialization.
The MBA curriculum at DSM is multidisciplinary, innovative, and
highly responsive to contemporary developments in the world of
business and management. Teaching material requires students
to view business problems from multiple perspectives, unlike
traditional business cases, which typically present a business
problem from a single point of view. This format reflects the way
managers must access and analyze information to make informed
business decisions.
The concept of team work is increasingly becoming prominent
in the modern era of global business. The recruiting companies
place great amount of importance on the group skills of MBA
graduates. At DSM, we understand the importance of developing
group skills of individuals. Hence, the curriculum has been
designed in a manner so as to provide exposure to such team/
group activities in almost all the lectures.
In addition to the regular curriculum, DSM organizes invited
guest lectures by individuals of repute from the corporate sphere
as well as from the academia. It s a way of enriching students
with the latest updates of the Corporate and Academicians. The
Students are bestowed with knowledge about industrial needs,
latest technical and management updates and the environment
around them.
