Established in 1947 and over the years known as the Red Feather, Community Chest and the United Fund, our mission remained constant – to serve, to help and engage our community. That’s what it means to LIVE UNITED! CHANGE WON’T HAPPEN WITHOUT YOU A Pacesetter sets the tone and takes on the challenge to produce early results. A very special thank you to our Pacesetter companies, their employees and individuals for doing the extraordinary, raising $221,818 for 22% of goal, to set the pace for the 2012 United Way Community Campaign. “Sixty-five years of caring is a remarkable feat for any community. It speaks to the drive and determination of Victorians to care for one another, to solve our problems and to be remarkably generous with our time, talents and gifts. We understand what it means to be a community… to help every individual to realize their potential, to help families to grow and prosper, to allow our seniors to live vibrant lives and to help individuals who are struggling to rebuilding their lives. Its that human spirit within each of us that allows us to become a stronger community.
