~he Company
Amy Campbell: Was last seen at The Loft Theatre in Antigone.
Some of her credits include Gertrude Stein and A Companion,
Talley's Folly, Broadway Bound, and Brecht on Brecht.
Amy studied theatre at S.U.N.Y. Purchase and at H.B. Studios.
"Let's change the world. It needs it!"
Andrew Karp: Is an Associate Professor of English at Dowling
College. He's studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory and
The Actors' Center, and has appeared in regional productions of
Twelfth Night, and A Midsummer Night's Dream, and in several
Loft Theater productions, including Scenesfrom Shakespeare, and
Antigone.
Ricky Kennedy: A sophomore here at Dowling College, Communications Major. Past theatrical experiences include a high school
musical "The Wizard of Oz," high school dramas: "Our Town,"
and "Inspecting Carol." He has also been seen in some children's
theater for Broad Hollow theaters and in their musical production of
"Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
Frank Melodia: Frank began his professional career as an actor
after receiving his B.F.A. degree from The lulliard School in Lincoln Center. He performed regionally with the American Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, The Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis,
and the McCarter Theatre in Princeton. In New York, he appeared
in several off-Broadway productions. With the Loft Theater, he appeared in Shakespeare IL and Antigone. Having worked as a chef
in New York City restaurants for several years between acting jobs,
Frank is currently the Test Kitchen Director for Rosie Magazine.
Christy Reinert
- English
Christy has performed extensively in regional theatres throughout th(
New England area and across the Eastern seaboard. Nat'l credits inc.:
Guys & Dolls (Sarah), Merry Widow (Hannah) and West Side Story
(Maria).
Zaure Kadyrbekova: is originally from the former USSR. She is
an alumnus of Dowling College and currently teaches at Dowling. Tc
the entire team - it has been a pleasure and a wonderful experience.
Eli Karp: A 3rd grader in East Quogue, appeared in the Loft Theatre production of Antigone and has studied acting at HB Studios in
Manhattan. He is also a NY Rangers fan and a hockey player (ice
and roller).
Emma Karp: A 6th grader in East Quogue, appeared in the Loft
Theatre production of Antigone and has studied acting at HB Studios
in Manhattan. She is also an artist, Siamese cat lover and hockey
goalie.
Benilde Montgomery (Director): Benilde is an Associate Professor
of Drama at Dowling College. He has directed numerous production
in New York City and on Long Island, including Antigone and Two
Love I Have, here at the Loft Theatre. He writes frequently on modem Drama. This, once again and always, is for Alan.
Josephine Libassi (Production Stage Manager): This is Josephine'~
first production with The Loft Theatre Past credits include Lanford
Wilson's Fifth of July, and Talley's Folly; Agnes of God, and The
Subject Was Roses, with the Lakeside Players; Oliver, Funny Girl,
and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, with Plaza
Productions.
major pursuing a degree in Secondary Ed.
at Dowling College. Christy was most recently seen on the Hofstra
stage as Christine Daee in The Grey Wig's production of Phantom.
Other Local and area productions include The King and I (Mrs.
Anna), Secret Garden (Lilly), and My Fair Lady (Eliza). Prior to
that, she held the title role in the national tour of Cinderella.
David Sandilands (Lighting) David is a student at Dowling College, majoring in the Aeronautics Professional Pilot program. He ha:
designed lighting systems for Sayville Hugh School and others for
the past seven years.
