Area Overview
Situated in the west of London, Fulham is now an area which has become hugely popular in recent years. A number of
smart bars and restaurants have sprung up as a result and there are some good pubs including the White Horse on
Parsons Green which has been voted London Pub of the Year on numerous occasions. Fulham Broadway has become
something of a haunt for people wanting a lively night out. On the whole, the area remains largely residential with rows of
modest but smart semi-detached Victorian houses lining most streets.

Harwood Arms
The Harwood Arms holds the first and only Michelin star to be awarded to
a London pub, and its restaurant has won many accolades over the last
few years that testify to the quality of its food which prides itself on being
sourced from 'a variety of carefully sourced producers' and ' the finest
game and wild food' in Britain.
Fulham Town Hall
A Grade II listed building designed by George Edwards, Fulham Town Hall
was built between 1888 and 1890. There are currently plans underway to
transform Fulham town Hall into a 'quintessentially British' lifestyle
emporium after Hammersmith & Fulham Council agreed to sell the
building to an American retail and leisure group.
Brompton Cemetery
Brompton Cemetery has been named one of the finest cemeteries in the
country. It is managed by The Royal Parks and is one of seven large,
cemeteries founded by private companies in the mid-19th century known
as the 'Magnificent Seven'. Beatrix Potter, who lived nearby, took the
names of many of her animal characters from the tombstones and it is
said that Mr McGregor's walled garden was based on the colonnades.
The White Horse
Colloquially known as 'The Sloany Pony' as a reference to the 'Sloane
Rangers' that frequent it, The White Horse in Parsons Green is an iconic
London pub especially popular among locals during summer months with
its attractive outdoor seating area and barbecue.
New Kings Road
New Kings Road in Parsons Green is an area that retains much of its
original village atmosphere with an eclectic mix of independent shops,
galleries, boutiques.
