ACTIVITIES @THE BEACH
Powerkiting
Powerkiting, the most booked activity at the beach. Feel the power of the wind while you learn how to control
the Nasawings. If you’re lucky, you can let yourself be pulled through the sand, or maybe even make some
little jumps! Our instructors will guide you through all the aspects involved with this exciting form of kiting.
After the reception and a brief instruction, you are free to experience the power of the elements. Naturally, we
offer a variety of kite sizes – from 80 cm to 4 ½ meters in width – to make the activity enjoyable for every skill
level.
Disc Golf
Disc golf is the Frisbee variant of golf. The goal is to finish a course with the lowest number of throws. In this
workshop, you can learn a few basic throws such as the forehand and the backhand. After a brief introduction
to the equipment, the different throwing techniques and the disk golf course, the participants can begin playing.
The teams complete the course by 'putting' the Frisbee into the 'pole hole'.
Beach Golf
Forget all you thought you knew about golf when playing on the beach. Each team has one club and one ball.
Depending on the space available, we will set out a 9-hole course for your guests.
The goal is to complete all nine holes with your team. Which team needed the fewest swings to complete the
course?!? Before starting on the course, the participants can practice their swings in the chipping nets.
Beachvolleybal (tournament)
The sun is shining, not too much wind, feet in the sand, let the competition begin. Beachvolleybal, the ideal
beach sport and a perfect meeting break @thebeach for groups.
After arriving at the beach we divide the group in teams. Depending on the number of participants we will play
on one or more beachvolleybal fields. After the poule games the poule winners get to the final, the numbers 2
rd
th
of each poule will play for the 3 and 4 place, etc. We are able to organize tournaments up to 150 persons.
Bounceball
A fun sport for everyone. The sport is very similar to hockey, but the ball is much lighter and softer and the
sticks are fitted with a thick layer of foam rubber. With two goals, 10 sticks, one ball and five players per team,
you can enjoy a quick and exciting game.
WATER ACTIVITIES
Coast Rafting in teams
Board the rafts with your team and brave the surf to beat the other teams.
A raftboat is a rubber boat for max. 8 persons. To get through the surf, you have to work together as a team.
Tempo, rhythm, slice through the waves, around the buoy, surf back to the lead and then be the first to the
finish ... the perfect team challenge! Naturally, you’ll have expert supervision, as each raft has its own
instructor. Wetsuits, life vests and helmets are provided!
Surf Canoeing (waveskiing)
A wave ski is a canoe you sit on top of, so it is completely safe. This type of canoe was developed in Australia
and South Africa to help lifeguards get through the surf quickly and then surf back to shore. The boats are
stable, fast and safe, and you can really surf the first time you use one! You begin with a few basic techniques,
learn how to get through the surf and then come back to shore at the speed of the waves. Wetsuits, life vests
and helmets are provided!
SUP (Stand Up Paddling)
Stand up paddle surfing is one of the latest fun activities at the beaches of Holland. This nice mix of balance,
stand up paddling and surfing is suitable for everybody who can swim. Our good educated and enthusiastic
instructors will learn you the basic principles of stand up paddling. After the instruction at the beach, we will go
into the sea for (maybe) your first SUP experience.
Note! If the waves are too high for this activity, it will be changed in Surf Canoeing (waveskiing) or coast rafting.
Wetsuits, life vests and helmets are provided!
RIB experience / speedboat (only possible in combination with rafting)
When you’re looking for some extra “kick of adrenalin” for you event or incentive then book one or more “RIBspeedboats”.
The RIB-Speedboats are 7,5 – 9,5 meter long and have 150 till 2x 300 Horsepower outboard engines which
gives it a maximum speed of around 60 up to 100 km/h. The speedboats are therefore fast but also very safe
and all drivers are professionals. Depending on the speedboat, there’s room for 7 – 12 persons.
Note!
RIB-speedboats are not allowed to come to the beach and have to stay about 200 meters from the coastline.
For this reason, this activity is only possible in combination with rafting. We have 8-person rafts to get from the
beach to the speedboat. Each speedtrip takes about 30 minutes.
Wetsuits, life vests and helmets are provided! To change into the wetsuits we can provide changing tents.
WORKSHOPS / CLINICS
Painting in teams (creative teambuilding)
After the introduction, we split the group in smaller teams of three persons. With your team, you create a
painting based on a theme of your choosing. When they are finished, each group gives a presentation on their
work of art. Naturally, you can take the painting to hang in your home or office. A perfect activity for exposing
hidden talents, and who knows; maybe one of your guests is the next Rembrandt or Van Gogh!
Fencing Clinic
During this 1 to 1.5 hour workshop, each participant receives a foil, fencing helmet, gloves and vest. In a
relaxed atmosphere, the group learns the safety rules, the fencing posture and the most elementary attack and
defense techniques. The participants have plenty of opportunities to change partners, and after an hour they
are able to put their instruction to use in individual matches. You can choose to compete as individuals or in
teams, what makes this clinic also a teambuilding activity. The clinics are provided by an experienced and
certified instructor. The clinic can be organized outside or in a conference room.
Boks Clinic / -workout @the beach (without endangering your brain cells!)
The ideal way to break the monotony of a conference or training course. Under the guidance of an experienced
trainer, your guests become acquainted with the basics of boxing – without the painful physical contact. All the
fun and none of the bother of black eyes or bruised ribs. Without risking injuries, your guests learn elements of
self-defence AND they don’t risk losing brain cells! This clinic can also be held on the beach, indoors during
inclement weather, or even in the parking garage of your meeting location. The clinics are provided by an
experienced and certified instructor.
Salsa workshop
Tropical music, gyrating hips, plenty of interaction and even more fun: Salsa dancing is suitable for everyone
and stimulates groups of any size into an explosion of energy and movement. Whether indoors or out, let
yourself be moved by one or more professional Salsa instructors and before you know it, you'll all be experts of
this fun and swinging dance style.
Cocktail Workshop
You don't have to be as good looking as Tom Cruise! You just have to know when to shake and when to stir!
Making cocktails will be very easy after you have finished this workshop! Finally you know which drinks to
combine to create the ultimate flavour!
You will learn the basic techniques of shaking cocktails during this fun cocktail workshop. The history of the
cocktail will be told as well as the various shaking techniques and philosophy behind the perfect cocktail. After
this workshop you won't just be able to shake cocktails in the correct way, you will also tell your audience
exactly what you are making and why this cocktail will be so good!
Workshop Percussion / Djembé
All participants are provided with a professional percussion instrument, such as: djembe, doundoun, shekere,
sakara, shaker or agogo bells. In a short time, our enthusiastic and expert instructors will help your group learn
a piece in which cooperation and humour are expressed in every beat.
Variant: Rythm on trash
Our “Rhythm on trash” workshop, on the other hand, feature everyday objects such as plant pots, palette
knives, PVC-pipes and camping mats. You’d never have thought they had such music in them.
Also it’s possible to organize a workshop “percussion on clogs” (only if a hard floor is available, from 60 pax)
TEAMBUILDING
Hexathlon “Team(fun)building @the Beach”
In this fun- / teambuilding program at the beach, teams meet each other on 6 different teamgames.
Goal: Teamwork and fun!
The hexathlon contains the following games:
1. Beachvolleybal

4. Disc Golf estafette
5. Bounceball
6. Tug of war (rope pulling)
Suitable for groups from 30 t/m 200 pax
Sandsculpting in teams with professional sculpsand
Sandsculpting in teams is an excellent team building activity, because the guests get to cooperate in a very
creative manner.
During the activity, the many talents present in the group are given a chance to shine. Good communications,
negotiation and cooperation are important elements in getting the right consistency from the sand. Then we
move on to the creative process. Your meeting’s goals and theme are ideal subjects for expression in the sand
sculptures. When the sculptures are complete, the teams each explain what their sculptures symbolize. In so
doing, you can combine a fun activity with an excellent learning process. The sand sculptures are usually made
with sand brought specially for that purpose from Limburg.
Teamwork Circuit @the beach
What makes a successful team, exactly, and why is one team more successful than another? One well-known
factor is that a good team is cohesive, the members are motivated, they know each other’s qualities and are
highly committed to the group's goals.
Evenementenbureau SPEV/Noordwijk-Events can help team members 'really' get to know one another better
in a very short time by offering a variety of team activities. Cooperation, communication, working towards goals,
taking initiative, trust, inventiveness and creativity are all essential.
Interactive Beach & Dunes Tablet Game
The Interactive Beach & Dunes Tablet Game is an interactive team battle. Guided by a Samsung tablet with 4G
internet, a special GameApp and by using GPS, the teams are sent to different locations. The participants do
not know where they are going and what to expect. Once arrived at the right location the team can activate a
question or assignment on the tablet. It's also possible to integrate company or product related questions.
The tension and competitiveness between the teams is enhanced with the visibility of the scoreboard on the
Game-app. By seeing the online ranking the teams will be motivated to go the extra mile.
Especially suitable for large groups. Duration from 1,5 - 3 hours.
3D Mega kite building
Teambuilding “Building your own 3D Megakite”
Build and fly your own 3D Megakite together with your colleagues. In groups of 3-4 persons, you are going to
construct and decorate a piece from the big boxkite. This will lead to a clean and clear structure or into a wild
and colorful creation.
When everybody is ready with the small parts, it is time to collect and join the Megakite together. Then the
thrilling moment will be there : the kite is going to be launched and it will be a great sight to see this structure
fly.
Building kites & kitefight
This workshop combines creativity, teambuilding, competition and being active in one!
Indoors, every team (max 4 people) will receive a Sanjo-construction package that has to be assembled into a
solid kite. When this fighterkite is constructed right, the kite is ready to be transformed into a hawkish warrior.
When everybody is ready we will go outdoors to finally battle with the kites
Every team-member will have a different task during the game. The kite has to be launched, the kite has to be
flown and adjusted to the wind and the team has to define their own tactics. While the Sanjo is flying in the air,
it is the purpose to bring down the kites from the other teams and stay the longest in the air. It is possible to cut
the flyinglines from other kites, to crash into other kites or just wait till the rest is done. We will play several
heats to make sure everybody made a turn with actual fighting with the rest of the kites.
GPS Teamwork Noordwijk
After a brief explanation on how to use a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, your guests leave in teams
for a hiking course along the beach and through the dunes.
Your team must communicate, cooperate and trust one another to reach the goal. A GPS tour is challenging,
because the system uses a digital compass to show you the general direction, but you as a team must
determine your own route.
During the tour, your team will be given a variety of assignments to perform. These can include: a walkie-talkie
tangram puzzle (communication assignment), spider web, over-the-top, build and shoot a catapult, ski slat
race, etc. Everything as part of a team! After the last assignment, the group returns to the home coordinates,
where the winning team is announced. The tour can be completed on foot, by bicycle or on a kickbike.
Duration depending on the time available from 1,5 – 3 hours
Take One … Action! (video commercial)
Our Take One video program is the perfect opportunity to let yourself go and expose your creativity. Take place
on the director’s chair, feel how it’s like to be a professional cameraman and to be part of a serious camera
crew. This team activity requires communication, working under pressure, flexibility and keeping an eye of the
goal.
The assignment is: produce a short movie with a preset theme, self written scenario and storyboard.
Professional filming equipment is available for every group. At the end of the program after the Final Cut, we’ll
have a premiere for the whole group on several monitors or a big screen. Afterwards all masterpieces will be
shown on screen and the Best Film and Best Acting will be rewarded with the traditional Oscars …
This activity has proven itself successful when it comes to creativity, inventiveness and teamwork.
Car Rally
Using nostalgic 2 CV’s (Ugly Duck, as they are called in Holland) we organize corporate events for groups of
40 to 400 participants. (4 persons per 2 CV) The rally is always about cooperation, creativity and excitement!
Which team will win the Company Car?
Each program is deployed in a beautiful setting. No highways, only narrow streets, dikes, sandy paths, etc.
Exercises with the cars like blindfold parking, labyrinth, tyre-change and questionnaires and challenging pit
stops like cheese tasting provide the necessary tension and points ...
Beside 2 CV’s, we also organize car rally’s with other old-timers / cabrio’s.
It’s even possible to organize a car rally using your own car.
Indoor Arrangement (Varied program for all seasons’)
Let yourself be taken by surprise during the indoor games like “Pinbollen”, “Shut the box” and “Jenga”. The
absolute highlight of this program is the “Jumbo Hammer Game”, a form of medieval pinball for eight.
Actable at every indoor location and possible to play before, during or after dinner / buffet / reception.
The Indoor Arrangement is also a good indoor alternative in case of bad weather.

IN AND ARROUND NOORDWIJK
Mountain Biking
An adventurous and athletic bicycle tour through the dunes over paved and unpaved paths, in which the group
learns the specific techniques for mountain biking.
The route includes a 7 km ATB course. Participants must be in reasonable physical condition. Includes:
mountain bike, helmet, guide(s).
Solextour
Do you remember the trusty old Solex? Well they’re back! Pure nostalgia. Under the leadership of our
enthusiastic guide and instructor, your group will putter through a hilarious tour of the Dunes and Tulips region
on yesteryear's premier mode of transportation. The guide will show you some of the most beautiful spots in
the area. Our Solex tours always include transportation for the Solexes, a guide in front and a sag wagon with
reserve Solexes in the rear.
Participants in the Solex tour must have a valid driver’s license or scooter certificate.
Segway tour
Get to know the transportation of tomorrow! The Segway is the world's first electric-powered, self-balancing
vehicle.
Riding a Segway is a unique and special experience. The Segway consists of two wheels with a platform in the
middle where the ‘driver’ stands. You control the Segway using the steering handle, but to move you have to
adjust your weight. To move forward, just lean forward. Leaning backwards slows the Segway down.
Oxboard (Segway alternative) Experience
Looking for a unique activity? Experience riding an Oxboard? Segway created a new category of transport with
its self-balancing scooters – now OXBOARD makes this accessible to all. And the latest advances in
technology mean it is so much smaller and more convenient. The combination of super-speedy software and
electro giro-motors allows the device to remain balanced, whether stationary, or speeding along. All the rider
needs is some sense of balance: most people master the OXBOARD within fifteen minutes or so.
During the 1,5 hour Oxboard Experience your guests learn to ride an Oxboard.
We will combine this activity with some teambuilding tasks. The perfect meetingbreak, also in combination with
our other activities.
GPS Hike- / bike- / kickbike tour
For groups who want to take it easy, we have set out a GPS route in Noordwijk. After instruction on how to use
a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, the participants leave in groups for a nice hike-, bike- or kickbike
tour along the beach and through the dunes of Noordwijk.

Vespa- / scooter tour Noordwijk
The sun, nice weather, the fresh air ... Leave your car in the car park and book a nice tour on Italian lifestyle
Vespa's / scooters through the beautiful flower- and dune region.
Driving a scooter is not only a lot of fun, but it is also the most comfortable way to move through the nice
environment of Noordwijk. The tour can be booked with or without guide and can be combined with
beachactivities like powerkiting, beachgolf, or for example with archery, a golfclinic or a "High Tea"
Good to know: thee scooters are very easy to drive and you don't need a helmet! Participants in the Vespa- /
scooter tour must have a valid driver’s license or scooter certificate.

The prices for our activities depend on a variety of factors, such as the number of participants, the choice of
activity or combination of activities, as well as the time limit.
