Samantha brought her cool-factor and extraordinary people-skills
to 4Life® in October 2004. She has worked in both the Distributor
Services Spanish and Administration departments, but currently
she helps 4Life’s highest-ranking distributors manage their
businesses in the Premier Services Department. “I enjoy this
job because of the enthusiasm distributors pass on to me,” she
expresses.
Samantha completed two years of university education in Mexico
and is now working to achieve a degree in business from Salt Lake
Community College. She has four older brothers, and a dozen
nieces and nephews, all of whom live in Utah and all of whom she
enjoys spending time with. Family is important to Samantha, and
she says without a doubt, her biggest hero is her mom. “She is the
strongest, most virtuous, and faithful woman I’ve ever met.”
We’re glad Samantha is one of the “cool kids” at 4Life!

Two years ago, after working for a period of eight years as a
salesman, I was fired from my job. I began doing odd jobs and
selling food to earn an income. Needless to say, I was desperate
for an opportunity. Fortunately, Carmelo Rodriguez approached
me with a business opportunity. He said that with this opportunity
I could become financially independent. I immediately signed the
4Life Distributor Agreement, without giving Carmelo the chance to
even show me the plan.
Today, thanks to the 4Life opportunity, I have achieved the position
of International Diamond and tripled the salary I earned previously.
I’m also proud that through this business I’ve been able to inspire
other people to go after their dreams and get out of the “J.O.B.”
cycle. I am forever grateful to Esdras Cabrera, Juan Rosado, and
many others who have helped to transform me into what I am
today, a network marketing professional and a builder of dreams.
Now more than ever, I remain totally committed to helping others
help themselves. I must also thank David and Bianca Lisonbee
for establishing and sharing with the world the most awesome
opportunity under the sun—4Life Research.
My dream is to first obtain freedom for myself—my time,
finances, and health—with my 4Life® Business, and
then serve others through volunteer activities around
the world. In this way, I would like to dedicate myself
to society. In order to be able to do that, I think it is
important for me to attain freedom for myself, and then
help others less fortunate. I am certain there is no job out
there, other than the 4Life Opportunity, which takes such
good care of people and builds great relationships with
others. It’s exciting to achieve the rank of International
Diamond, but I wouldn’t have been able to do it without
the efforts of my group members, and I am very grateful
Hiroyo Kunitomo for them. I hope that by seeing me reach this rank and
accomplish my dreams, other distributors will have

up to you to take the first step towards your dreams. I will
take the first step towards my next goal today.
After working for more than 15 years in my furniture business,
I decided to find an alternative that would let me truly be free.
That’s when I became involved in network marketing. When
Ivan Rodriguez spoke to me about 4Life® and the International
Networkers Team, I knew this was the right company for
me. I have had the opportunity of impacting many lives with
4Life, and today I feel proud and satisfied for helping them
achieve their dreams. Together we have reached many great
accomplishments. I want to thank many people for the help
and support that they have provided, including Ivan Rodriguez
and Luis Gonzales and all of the members of the International
Networkers Team. I also want to thank Diony Recio and her
organization in the Dominican Republic. Thank you to David
Rivera and his team of workers who share this business
with me. Most of all, I thank my wife, Maria TeresaRosa, and
my children, Jinna, Joan, Joel, and Elvin. You have been my
inspiration for making my dreams come true with 4Life. I thank
God and I thank 4Life!
In 2004, we began to develop our 4Life Business without any
prior network marketing experience. We made a lot of mistakes
in the process, but our desire to make our dreams come
true and get out of our mediocre life circumstances, helped
us overcome the obstacles along the way. We asked God to
give us the wisdom so that we could achieve different ranks
in the company. We reached the rank of Diamond within our
first month in the company. After five months, we reached
Presidential Diamond. But getting to International Diamond
took a lot more time than the earlier ranks. We realized that
in order to reach it, we would need to develop ourselves
more as people. That’s when we began to educate ourselves
in all areas of leadership and interpersonal relationships.
We discovered that this business is about serving others in
the best way possible. We feel so happy that we have made
it to International. Our happiness doesn’t stem from merely
reaching this rank, but rather that today we are different
people because of 4Life. We thank God because without Him
we could have never done it. Remember that success is not a
destination; it is a road that you travel.
It is easy to just talk about being a family with my 4Life
Distributors, but I would like to build true 4Life family ties
with other distributors that last for years to come. My
goal is to become someone that people look at and say,
“Since Kidani is doing it, I should do it, too.” I have many
mentors, including my group members both downline
and upline, who have taught me many things along the
way. I have changed a lot through my experiences with
4Life. I have had some hardships, but I have learned to
be thankful for the things other people do for me. Can
you name any other job that strengthens relationships
with others and helps you grow as a person? Let’s become
successful together!
japan
I was driven to the network marketing industry because
my heart’s desire was to help people achieve their dreams
and enjoy more prosperous lives. I have now achieved
the rank of International Diamond even faster than I
planned. My life has now completely changed. The lives of
my family have changed and the lives of everyone on my
team have substantially improved physically, emotionally,
and financially.
With the 4Life Opportunity, I know that people
everywhere can achieve whatever they want, if they
set their minds to it. I am achieving my goals with
the education system provided by the International
Networkers Team—it’s the training technique I recommend

When my group members reach success, then I become
successful myself. I always want to do things that help
other people be happy. I have always believed I could
be a mentor to others in their own 4Life journeys. It’s
important to take care of my own needs, but I also want
to help provide for other people’s happiness. I believe that
will eventually lead to my own happiness. I have found
my purpose in life with 4Life, with the great products,
stability, and our wonderful Japan General Manager, Souji
Miyawaki. I would like to build my organization to become
a great example for others within the 4Life family. If you
gain financial freedom, you also gain great knowledge.
I am going to pass on 4Life’s Together, Building People
philosophy and make every effort to be successful in my life.

I was introduced to 4Life in the summer of 2004. I had
10 years MLM experience—years that weren’t always a
positive experience—but, after a closer look at the 4Life
compensation plan and product description, I thought,
“If MLM can be like this, perhaps I can change my
perspective.” I purchased a plane ticket and flew to Utah
to meet some people at the 4Life Home Office. It was very
important for me to understand who I would be working
for, to look those people in the eye and feel comfortable
about my decision. Needless to say, I was completely
satisfied… today I’m happy and confident, and I’m very
pleased with the results of my 4Life journey so far. But
the best part about my 4Life Business is that I can help
others with health, as well as be financially independent.
4Life is an unbelievable opportunity, and I’m sharing it
with everybody!

I joined 4Life with no experience in network marketing—I
started because I was interested in 4Life Transfer Factor. In
addition to working in real estate (which I only do part time
now!), I recently opened a 4Life LP Center with Presidential
Diamonds Tito Camacho and Fernando Valencia in Doral,
Miami. The foundation of my 4Life Business is founded
upon the values of honesty and service.
I believe that being a leader means to serve, lead, and
support everyone equally, with no exceptions. When I talk
with potential prospects I tell them that nothing good
can come easily, but if they set their minds to it, they will
achieve everything they want. The key ingredients they
need are desire and a dream. People can receive support
from 4Life’s incredible tools, including the DVD’s, CD’s,
product catalog, brochures, and the Internet.
I will continue to be motivated by helping other people and
seeing how lives can be changed with the 4Life Opportunity.
I am rewarded by helping others achieve their dreams.

I have been very interested in alternative medicine for
some time now. I managed a natural products company
with friends for several years. One day, I had a customer
share the 4Life Products and Life Rewards Plan™ with
me. I was very excited, because I had always hoped that I
could have great health, financial freedom, and a fantastic
lifestyle, all at the same time. I believed 4Life would
be able to help me to fulfill these dreams. Therefore, I
decided to give up the company I managed, and I spared
no effort in building a successful 4Life Business. 4Life
gives me not only financial freedom but also great
confidence in myself.

Before I learned about 4Life®, I was a social worker. My
husband was a mailman who worked 40 hours a week
for 40 years, only to end up with nothing. We missed out
on many of our daughter’s best moments because we
had to leave her at daycare every day. We continued to
survive, even though we were drowning in debt. That’s
when God placed Victor Colón in our path, the person who
shared 4Life with us. This opportunity has transformed
our lives and those of our loved ones. Thanks to the

Mukadas joined 4Life in February 2006-- by October
she achieved the rank of International Diamond. As a
professional actress and producer, Mukadas adds a creative
touch to everything she achieves, including 4Life. This
emotional encouragement is highly appreciated among the
distributors of her organization.
Mukadas knows how to persuade people and she also
possesses the qualities of independence and courage.
She is capable of analyzing activities of different MLM
companies, grasping all of the most progressive and
forthright aspects. Her first commandment is “Make No
Harm”, and she gladly admits that when 4Life came to
Kazakhstan she found terrific products. After making a fair
capital, Mukadas plans to sponsor the two groups that she
organized – a children dancing group and a vocal-dancing
band.
“May the wind always blow into the back of this ship with
one perfect captain and a solid crew!”
“For many years I dedicated myself to the sport of
bodybuilding, during which time I built my own business.
I worked for nearly a decade understanding that I could
make my dreams come true through hard work, however,
I realized that I had become a slave to my own business.
That was until two angels came into my life: Junito King
and his wife, Miriam who presented a financial freedom
opportunity to me through 4Life.
I want to thank God and the team of leaders that joined me
because without them, my dreams could never have come
true. Additionally, I am extremely grateful to Dr. Herminio
Nevárez and his wife Yadira for having a vision and then
sharing it so that we could make our dreams come true.
Even more importantly, he has helped turn leaders into
business owners through the International Networking
Team. Remember, God decides what comes into our lives,
but we decide what we choose to keep and what gets cast
away. I wish you all the best of success.
brother International Diamond Juan Vargas, our dreams
are coming true. I was able to quit my job on July 14, 2006.
Now I am a full-time mother, business owner, and frequent
traveler, and I am able to enjoy time with my family. It’s
really satisfying to be part of the success of others. One
of our dreams is to help people on an international level,
those who are hoping for an opportunity just like we were.
Don’t let anything stop you. If you sincerely believe and
go after your dreams with enthusiasm, you will be able to
attain them.

To: 4Life® Distributor
From: Yourself
Re: Commit
➚
The holiday season is over, taking with it the brightly
wrapped packages, tinkling bells, bundles of good
cheer, and hot cocoa sipped by the fire. Now you’re
left with mountains of greetings cards to go through,
bills to pay, and oh yes, New Year’s resolutions.
Should you partake? Does it matter? Will you get any
of the things on your list actually accomplished?
Shake off those post-holiday blues! It’s a brand new year— a fresh
start, a clean slate, a chance to reflect and move forward with
renewed determination. It’s a perfect time to do a little thinking,
changing, and maybe even a little growing!
The best part about the New Year is that it’s new. You’ve got twelve
months of opportunities to take your business further; 365 days of
making good health your number-one priority; and 52 weeks of
meetings, where you can dazzle new prospects with the 4Life way of life.
Just like the Re: on your e-mail means “reply,” the New Year is a
perfect time to take a second look at your commitment level. Are you
where you want to be? No matter your rank or monthly check totals,
everyone can benefit from more commitment. It’s time to re: dedicate
to your dreams, re: align your priorities, and re: energize your
business. It’s time to re: commit!
14 | S U M M I T
Re: Dedicate
Close your eyes for a second and think back
to when you signed up as a 4Life® Distributor.
What was your driving motivation? What
were the dreams you set out to accomplish?
Simply, what’s your “why” for doing this? Is
it the chance to take moonlit walks on the
beach with your spouse? Is it the opportunity to have more than enough money in
your bank account at the end of the month?
Or, is it more time in the day to jump rope
with your daughter, visit with loved ones,
and enjoy the fruits of your labors?
When you’re knee deep in the day-to-day of
building a 4Life Business, it can sometimes
be challenging to keep perspective and
focus. Take the time now to get back to
your “why.” Maybe you need to crack open
your copy of the Leader In You booklet
and fill out your dream worksheet again.
Whether it’s a picture on your desk or a
letter to yourself posted on the fridge, keep
your “why” close by. And whenever you
need a pick-me-up, you’ll have what you
need to re: dedicate all over again.
Re: align
The course to success is never a perfectly
straight line. Life throws us our fair share
of hiccups, disappointments, struggles,
and tragedies. But no matter what curve
ball life sends your way, it doesn’t have to
be the end of the world… and it certainly
doesn’t have to be the end of your path to
your dreams. What’s in order? A little bit
of re: alignment. What you choose to
re: align depends on you, your personality,
current life situation, and goals for the
new year.
S U M M I T | 15
education > feature article
A few ideas:
•
Re: align your course. Is your current route taking you towards your dreams or away from them? Do you sometimes feel
like you’re going in circles, doing
seemingly worthwhile tasks that don’t seem to get you anywhere? Take a quick check of your 4Life® map, referring back to your “why” and the charts you filled
out in your Leader In You booklet. Make
sure your course lines up with where you want to be at the end of 2007, and you’re on your way again.
•
Re: align your focus. No one would ever doubt Gold International Diamond Teri Shuler’s commitment to 4Life. But a few years ago, Teri thought she needed to be a product master to be a great distributor. When she chose to re: align her focus—zeroing in on helping people achieve their dreams through the 4Life Products and Opportunity—her organization took off and she achieved unimaginable success. Take stock of
your business focus. If your pendulum swings more to product focus or
opportunity focus, perhaps it’s time to re: align for a Together, Building People focus. You’ll never find a better phrase
that encompasses everything
about 4Life.
16 | S U M M I T
•
Re: align your priorities. Just as
important as re: dedicating to your dreams, it’s critical that you keep your priorities in check. What’s more
important to you? The amount of your monthly Power Pool check, or what it signifies—the people whose lives you touched? Is it about increasing numbers in your downline organization, or finding the right people to complement your
growing group of caring and passionate
team members? When you re: align your priorities on people, and not money
or numbers, you’ll find the course to
success much smoother than before.
Re: energize
A burst of physical energy in the middle of
the workday can give you the pep to enroll
one more distributor, or get your
presentation notes perfect before the big
4Life meeting. Taking time to pump up
your business energy can also go a long
way. If you’ve been “doing just
fine” and “getting by” on a few 4Life
meetings every few months
and a conference call here and
there, how much more success
would you find if you exerted just
a little more effort? Re: energize
by attending a 4Life meeting every
week and bringing a new prospect.
Re: energize your distributor group
by organizing a local get-together
or e-mail newsletter. Small energy
boosts can reap big results in
motivation, commitment, and
overall team success.
Many distributors agree that big
energy boosts come from attending
a 4Life event, such as a corporatesponsored meeting, convention,
or Leader In You Academy. When
4Life Distributor Kim Exeter
atended a recent Academy, she
experienced the thrill of being in
a room full of people who were
all dedicated to the same things:
enriching lives and being of service
to others. That type of energy boost
can sustain you for months to come.

Re: commit to yourself
No need to have a long list of resolutions
this New Year. When you pledge to re:
commit, it covers everything that’s truly
important. You’re once again dedicated
to your dreams, the real “why” you’re
with 4Life in the first place. You’ve got
your course set out in front of you, with
tools in place no matter what life deals
you. And you’ve infused your life with new
ideas, new ways of doing things, and most
importantly, plenty of people who are just
as committed as you are.
Re: commit to your business, making the
choice to give it everything you’ve got.
Re: commit to 4Life and all of the hopes
and dreams that you can accomplish here,
both for yourself and others.
Re: commit to yourself in 2007.
Let’s try
Every month between the 8th and the 12th start checking the Business Center homepage at
4life.com for the iBuy icon. And keep checking. When you see the iBuy icon, that’s your cue to get
in on a phenomenal product special with pricing so astounding, we almost can’t justify it. (Almost.)
The iBuy is only good for 24 hours, so there’s no time to dawdle. And what will the products be? We
don’t want to spoil the surprise; with a few simple clicks, you can see for yourself.
(Isn’t this fun?)
One deal. One day.
4Life® Theory of
evolution
do more. be more. evolve.
In the world of science, you don’t just conjure a theory from thin air one day, and shazam, get it
published in a medical journal the next day. Before your scientific brilliance ever sees the light of day,
you will discuss it endlessly with numerous colleagues... you’ll spend what seems like half your life in the
library... you’ll spend what seems like the other half of your life in the lab... you get the gist.
In the world of 4Life business building, we too, appreciate
the value of methodical thought, calculations, research,
and testing—and in that spirit, we offer the 4Life Theory of
Evolution. Our theory has one very important aspect: It’s
time-tested. Its principles have been proven over and over
again, by thousands of 4Life Distributors just like you.
The 4Life Theory of Evolution is about change, growth, and
becoming more than you were yesterday. It’s not about
abandoning where you’ve been... it’s about embracing your
past and using those experiences to give you knowledge for
the future. Before you begin, first take a moment to decide:
Where will your 4Life evolutionary journey take you in 2007?
• Full-time distributor status
• Great Escape trip winner (to fabulous Cancun)
• Public speaking guru
• Regular meeting attendee/host
• Savvy 4Life leader
We’ve provided some evolutionary insight; read through the
rules of our theory, decide how they best fit with your individual goals...and then let the transformation begin!
18 | S U M M I T
Principle 1:
Build on past experiences
Where would modern-day science be without pioneers such
as Galileo Galilei, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Marie Curie,
and Charles Darwin? Thousands of years of study, application,
and plain old toil and sweat are the foundation for potential
greatness. In your own life and business, it’s your past
experiences which reap your future successes. So often, we
think that yesterday is where our mistakes are found, and we
want to “break with the past” and “move on.” Bottom line:
Without your past, you wouldn’t be the person you are today.
So, dig deep into your history, both before 4Life and your
early days with the company. Your past experiences help you
grow, give you drive to succeed, and provide you with the
tools and know-how to reach a higher evolutionary plane.
Principle 2:
Don’t fix what isn’t broken
When you’re trying to move onward and upward, it can be
tempting to scrap all of the old and start fresh. But don’t!
Analyzing your methods and redirecting your efforts is
perfectly okay; however, if a particular prospecting method
is working really well, don’t change things just for the sake
of changing. Remember, it’s not about revolution—it’s about
evolution. You don’t always need a complete transformation
to bring about real and lasting growth.
Examine always... adjust if necessary.

❝The connection was made in 1876.❞
Principle 3:
Evolution takes time
(and work)
Evolution is a gradual process. In the natural world, it can
take millions of years. In the 4Life world...well, let’s hope it’s
shorter than that! Your evolution—into a full-time distributor,
a confident public speaker, or a fantastic 4Life leader—will
take time. It won’t happen overnight, so it’s important to get
excited about the steps you make, no matter how small they
may seem. You can even track your evolutionary progress by
using the handy goal charts in the Leader In You booklet. Map
out what you’ll accomplish each week, and don’t forget to
cheer when you accomplish your objective.
If you get frustrated that your evolution to 4Life greatness
isn’t going according to plan, think back to where you’ve
come from. Remember how nervous you were at your first
4Life meeting? What about when you made your first
three-way conference call on your own? Greatness doesn’t
happen in an instant—but if you are continually fueled by
your dreams and forging ahead with your plan (following
the Leader In You system, participating in the Power Pool,
attending weekly 4Life meetings) you will most certainly see
progress.
life won’t always go exactly according to plan. But the one
element that can remain constant in your personal evolution
is your attitude—how you react to circumstances, how you
decide to recommit yourself, how you will regroup if things
seem to be on the downswing. Your attitude can say a lot
about you, for better or worse. So what, exactly, do you want
your attitude to say? That 4Life is a vital part of who you are.
That you desire to get the most out of what 4Life has to offer,
this year and for many years to come.
In 2007, take stock of where you’ve been and commit to go
farther than you’ve ever gone in order to become something
better.
Do more. Be more. Evolve.
❝The connection went
wireless in 1973.❞
Principle 4:
Control your
evolutionary future
Resist thinking that someone else—your upline, downline, or
anyone else—is in charge of your evolutionary future. Believe
it or not, science is not always... well, an exact science. And

The 4Life Home Office annual Holiday Charity Drive
was declared an overwhelming success, with more
than $5,000 in cash and 2,000 pounds of winter
clothing donated to the Salvation Army, which
assists people in need during the holiday season
and beyond.
In years past, the charity drive has enjoyed great
employee participation, but some competition
between departments this year got everyone into
the spirit of giving. Calling it the “Biggest Loser”
challenge, employees made donations throughout
the week of November 13-17, competing to make
their department team the winner of the contest.
Teams got creative, with an auction, breakfast
buffet, and lunchtime meal raising added funds
for charity.
Executive Vice President Bruce Redd: “4Life
employees came together this holiday season to
support a truly worthy cause. It was heartening
to see the sheer volume of clothes and money
that were donated during the charity drive. I’ve
always known that our employees are giving and
caring individuals, and this service event just
reinforced that. It was a great week!”

A
s a devoted wife and mother of eight
children from ages two to 18, Karen
Schroeder truly loved her life. But as the
family grew, she began looking for ways to
supplement her husband’s teaching income.
“When I was searching for an alternative, I
heard about 4Life Transfer Factor ®. With my
background in biology and biochemistry, I
was fascinated by the science of the product
and thrilled with the support I received. It
was a natural decision for me to sign up as
a distributor.”
Her enthusiasm about 4Life®, its products,
and the prospect of financial freedom
made Karen a passionate distributor, but it
did take some training to get her business
rolling. “For the past 21 years, I have been
a full-time housewife and mother. The
biggest challenge for me in building my 4Life
Business has been to get out and become
known in the business community. I started
becoming active in local networking groups,
and that got the ball rolling for me. I also
keep in mind that building a downline is all
about finding the right people. I know that I
have to sort through a lot of people to find
the right ones. When I talk to many people
who aren’t interested, I tell myself that this
is just part of the process. I may have to sift
through many ‘no’s’ to find a ‘yes,’ but there
always is a ‘yes’ just around the corner.”
Karen’s hard work, upbeat attitude, enthusiasm,
and commitment to the Power Pool came
to fruition when she recently won the Great
Escape vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
When she arrived at the Casa Blanca hotel
with her husband Lars, Karen says it really
sunk in that they were in paradise. “I felt
so grateful to be there and I was full of
anticipation about the trip. What a gift to be
able to share that time with my husband. We
are both so incredibly busy and we have to
‘burn the candle at both ends’ to do all we do.
So it was a great luxury for us to be able to
just relax by the pool, and sleep in as late as
we wanted!”
With a degree in biology and work experience in biochemistry,
Karen has devoted the past 20 years to raising her eight
children with her husband Lars. Any spare time they
happen to have is spent at meetings and activities for
their local church in Salem, Oregon.
Memories make the best souvenirs
Even though Karen and Lars didn’t buy any souvenirs for
themselves while on the Great Escape vacation, they took
home memories that will last the rest of their lives. Karen
says, “It was a joy for me to watch my husband fulfill a
life-long dream to swim with dolphins. A child at
Disneyland® wouldn’t have been as ecstatic as Lars was
with those dolphins. And on the last night, we saw a sea
turtle laying eggs right on the beach!”

Goals “4Life”
It’s resolution time again! Someone once told me she felt discouraged to see the same things on her list
year in and year out. I, too, have had some of the same goals on my list year after year. For as long as I can remember, my long-term goals have revolved around being a better mother… and now, a better grandmother. (So far I think
it’s much easier to be the latter!)
But the fact that these remain on my list is not
