Smoke Rings™ Starla Teeny Bopper™ Texas
Smoke Rings™
(cv. WEKsaclaego) • PPAF
There’s no other Mini with a color like this. Shapely
little buds start off a warm melon orange-yellow color
set against a mound of clean, lush, deep-green leaves.
As the buds swirl open, a most surprising hue of smoky
purple begins to blush at the edge of each petal, lending
a mysterious effect of orange ‘ringed’ with smoke. This
little Mini says ‘Come see me’ whether it’s in a patio pot
or tucked into the garden border. Makes a great tree rose,
too. Comments: More smoke in mild temperatures.

Starla
(cv. PIXaria)
A luminous member of the Miniature family. But she’s not
little or fragile. In fact, Starla is one of our more robust
Minis. Big pointed buds come atop an upright vigorous
plant. Long cutting stems are clothed with deep green
leaves. Comments: Best form with a little heat.

Starla
(Shrublet™) This half-pint cousin of the Floribunda is a
real whipper-snapper when it comes to bloomin’. She
loves to show off with lots & lots of sassy scarlet & white
blooms. Glitzy clusters bear very pointed buds that open
into knee-high hydrangea-like heads of very long-lived
flowers. Deep green glossy leaves dress up her flashy
but compact habit. Pull her to the front of the border…
put her in a pot…or place her amongst perennials. She’ll
flaunt her flowers & steal the show. Comments: Perfect
container plant.

At long last, a yellow Mini that’s super-vigorous,
beautifully formed and brilliantly colored. What better
candidate to bear the name of the state known for its
yellow rose. The upright plant produces bouquet-like
clusters of sunny yellow blossoms. Comments: Cool
weather gives the best form.
