ESSENTIAL CUTTING & CLIPPER COURSE FUNDAMENTALS In this course you will gain the confidence and skill necessary to master classic barbering through the American Crew Menswork Method of cutting. We will focus on clipper and scissor work to create lean, masculine haircuts. This course utilises the fundamentals of Menswork theory and product knowledge. In this brand new workshop you will work on three haircuts. The Rebel; a bold and masculine shape using the feather razor as your primary tool.The Icon; a strong classic shape using the clipper and shear to create this fundamental changeable look. The Crop; a minimalist haircut for perfect grooming, combining clipper techniques alongside texturising methods. The Menswork Method is the perfect blend of hairdressing and core barbering and Method 01 focuses on primary head shape and male-specific design objectives, including how to assess head shape and proper tool usage. Method 02 focuses on texturising techniques, design options using scissor and razor techniques to create contemporary men’s looks. This course offers the definition for the seven considerations that give accountability to changing shape: tool, cutting action, cutting angle, depth, section size, location and target.
