COMPANY PROFILE
• Centrally situated in Germiston, Gauteng, Active Foundry has been a
leading supplier of various types of high quality Gound Engaging Tools
(G.E.T) castings used in various applications throughout South Africa.
• Approximately 12 years ago we started dedicating a large volume of our
production towards Ground Engaging Tools (G.E.T.) where we have had
excellent results up to date.
• Initially our production was aimed at serving the Original Equipment
Market (O.E.M.) but because of market requirements subsequently moved
our efforts to include the Direct Replacement Market (D.R.P.) as well.
• Our facility boasts a 2.5 Ton induction furnace with a smelting capacity of
120 tons of finished weight castings per month. We also have a fully
mechanized heat treatment plant which includes 5 electric furnaces
utilized for normalizing, quenching and tempering of our cast products.
• We have approximately 60 employees working at our facility which
includes qualified metallurgical engineers through to general labour.
