What is the SmartFlo SF-1 Water Cartridge?

A removable reservoir system that offers convenient sanitization of all water contact
components.

Rather than cleaning and sanitizing the waterways, the entire water contact components
are removed and replaced with a new system.

For the best quality and better tasting water, it is recommended that the SmartFlo SF-1 be


Open Dispenser door (Figure 1). (slide door upward to allow access to bottle area).

Place fresh bottle outside of the cabinet and clean the bottle’s exterior with a clean cloth.

Remove bottle cap completely from the top of the bottle (Figure 2).

Un-package and assemble the Bottle Adaptor assembly (located in the bottle storage area)

Place the bottle adaptor probe into the bottle (Figure 3). It may be necessary to straighten the
tubing so that it reaches the bottom of the bottle. If nitrile gloves are not available, use the
inside of the bag which the adapter came in to straighten the tubing without touching with your
hand.

Slide the bottle adaptor over the neck of the bottle and push down to secure (Figure 4).

Push probe down until the tube hits the bottom of bottle, taking care that the tube does not get
lodged in the bottle handle, if applicable. (Figure 5).

Slide bottle into cabinet and close the door (slide door downward to close {Figure 6}). Place a
container under faucet and dispense water until a smooth stream of water is dispensed. Prime
the cold then the hot side. Once water is dispensed through both faucets, open the door and
turn on the hot tank switch located on the right side (Figure 7).
