supplies sunshades on a worldwide basis for restaurants,

We offer umbrellas that are made from polyester or acrylic
materials. Our 100-percent polyester umbrellas provide
optimal protection against UV rays though color changes

Powder Coating
Powder coating is a process of powder painting a metal product or component and heating it in an oven
for an invisible protective coating.
Blasting
Blasting is the most rigorous preparation that needs to be
specified. To prepare for smooth and sleek metal surfaces,
we ensure that all surfaces are completely free of contaminant
and welding spots. We chip, scap, sand, and wire brush/grind
to remove all spots, loose rusts, and mill scales, both by hand
and by power tools.

Pre-treatment
The first critical step to remove all contaminants including oil, soil,
lubrication grease, metal oxides, welding scales, and etc., is to
degrease and clean all parts. This will ensure a long-lasting and
quality powder-coated finish.
Powder Coating
Electrostatic powder coating is applied to products and components.
Curing
The product is then placed into a heated oven to create a final film
that will provide ultimate protection.

What’s unique about Canaan’s powder coating?
Acid degreasing bath or caustic solution are used to remove the dirt,
oil, and grease.
Our powder coating can resist high temperatures, UV, acids, and
solvents because we offer high mechanical and chemical performance.
Surfaces are rinsed by fresh water and wiped clean with a cloth.
We provide a bright, smooth, and even finish, eliminating paint runs.

Pickling
Hydrochloric or sulfuric acid is used to remove oxides and mill scale.
Fluxing
Steel is cleaned to be free of oxidation developed at the Pickling
stage; a protective coating is created to prevent steel from oxidizing
further before entering the galvanizing kettle.
We offer a large selection of colors, effects, and textures with high
quality paint.
Our powder coating is environmentally-friendly: it emits zero or near
zero volatile organic compounds (VOC); excess over-sprayed powder
are reused to cut down waste.
Anti-corrosion treatment – Electrocoating
This Electrocoating process uses a sacrificial zinc anode suspended in a solution of zinc and saline. An electrical current is introduced
to this setup with the zinc anode being attached to the positive side
of the power source while the steel to be galvanized is attached to
the negative side of the power source. By attaching the power supply in this manner, the positively charged zinc ions given off by the
anode are attracted to the negatively charged steel.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Effortless to maintain – simply wipe with a cloth. The result of Canaan’s multi-step process is a weather
and corrosion-resistant product durable for years of active use and minimal maintenance.
Post-treatment: it aims to enhance the galvanized coating. The
quench tank contains mostly water but may also have chemicals
added to create a passivation layer that protects the galvanized
steel during storage and transportation.

Recycled Plastic Lumber
Recycled plastic lumber is an extremely durable and sustainable material; often
require minimal maintenance and no finishing. It comes in a variety of colors and
styles, and is appropriate for any environment. It is resistant to moisture, rotting, decay
and cracking and is impervious to salt water, stains and unaffected by termites,
rodents, worms, marine parasites or other insects. It also resists fading, because its
color is intrinsic to the material. And best of all, a high percentage of its components
are post-consumer materials and will contribute to LEED certification.
The most commonly used plastics in site furniture:

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is readily recyclable and can be recycled
many times without significant change in properties. Its production results in
fewer pollutants than is the case with PVC or ABS, and waste can be recycled
during manufacturing processes. HDPE plastic lumber is used in bench slats, litter
receptacles, and tree grates.
•
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) has recycling characteristics similar to those of
HDPE and is widely recycled into plastic lumber with HDPE (the mix is less expensive
than 100 percent HDPE but subject to down cycling to a lower-grade product after
multiple recycles). It is used alone in some site furniture, including benches, picnic
tables, and bollards, but has lower tensile strength and density than HDPE.

Canaan Metal
Cast Iron
Cast iron is iron alloys that contains more than 2% carbon content. With its low
melting point, good fluidity and resistance to deformation, cast iron is desirable for
using precision-made molds to produce intricate structural shapes/frames in site
furnishings. Cast iron designs are usually more detailed and accurate; it can be hot
dip galvanized and finished with UV resistant powder coating to prevent corrosion.
Steel
Steel is lighter than iron but heavier than aluminum; its hefty weight provides a
sturdy, stability and long-lasting construction. Steel furniture can endure extreme
temperatures and do not dent easily as lightweight aluminum. Steel is strong and
difficult to break. It is recyclable, and can be hot dip galvanized to prevent corrosion.
Steel materials electro-coated with anti-corrosion treatment and finished UV resistant
powder-coating can last for decades and require little if any maintenance.
Aluminum
Aluminium is a relatively soft, lightweight, ductile and malleable metal which resists
rust and moisture damage better than other metals. It is easy to rearrange and
store due to its lightweight construction with cast and wrought aluminium being the
most commonly used outdoor furniture material. Despite its lightweight properties,
cast and wrought aluminum are still strong enough to withstand wind and weather.
Aluminum furniture coated with UV resistant powder coating offers added protection
against the elements.
