K-PAK HAIR REPAIR SYSTEM COLOR SERVICE PROCEDURES
The K-PAK Hair Repair System is designed to cleanse, reconstruct and moisturize hair while restoring its
Color Procedure
natural strength, condition, and shine.
1. K-PAK Chelating Shampoo. This should always be preformed prior to a color service.
CAUTION: Vigorous scalp manipulation before color services can cause irritation.
2. Acidify with K-PAK Cuticle Sealer. Leave on hair for 5 minutes. Rinse.
3. Reconstruct using K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor. Leave on hair for 5 minutes. Rinse and dry
the hair.
4. Note: For porous or damaged hair, spray K-PAK Professional H.K.P. lightly on midshaft and ends
and comb through. Apply color over K-PAK Professional H.K.P.
5. Process haircolor, then rinse thoroughly. Shampoo, if recommended. Vero K-PAK Color is water-soluble
and does not need to be shampooed from the hair.
6. Apply K-PAK Cuticle Sealer, leave on hair for 5 minutes.
7. Apply K-PAK Intense Hydrator, leave on hair for 5 minutes. Rinse and style the hair using the
appropriate Joico styling products.

STEP 1: Cleansing/Chelating
Shampoo hair with K-PAK Chelating Shampoo. For optimum chelating benefits, let stand for 2-5
minutes. Rinse.

Apply K-PAK Cuticle Sealer to the hair. Let stand 5 minutes. Rinse.

Apply K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor to the hair. Let stand 5 minutes. Rinse.
NOTE: For extremely stressed and damaged hair, repeat Step 2 (Acidify) and Step 3
(Reconstruct) up to three times for maximum results.
STEP 4: HYDRATE
Apply K-PAK Intense Hydrator to the hair. Let stand 5 minutes. Rinse.
