Willmar Rear Discharge Tenders
Willmar’s truck or trailer mounted 16 ton tenders are ideal for commercial fertilizer dealers, custom
applicators and large farming operations. With two large capacity hoppers that feed into one auger,
these tenders can carry nearly any single, dry material product and load an applicator or planter at up
to two tons per minute.
• 30º minimum hopper slope angle for the 1600 and 40º for the 10 ton model allow for fast material
flow and clean out.
• Standard 10" auger diameter by 21' long.
• Auger on/off controls and raise/lower controls are located on the left rear corner of the tender.
Willmar tenders are manufactured from 409 stainless steel and finished with a special epoxy primer
and modified acrylic urethane paint for maximum corrosion resistance. The rear discharging augers

TA Series Tapered Auger Vertical Blender
The Waconia TA Series vertical blenders have a tapered blending auger that
quickly, yet gently, draws material from the payload hopper into the blending
drum. Once inside, material is constantly blending as it moves up the center
and down the sides. A complete blend cycle takes only seconds and blend
quality is excellent.
The scale and blender on each Waconia unit are factory tested and shipped
fully assembled. The only on site assembly required is the unit’s bolt on
hopper. A 3/4" stainless steel spray ring for impregnation comes standard
with each unit.

CRADLE RIDE SUSPENSION
The standard 3 point cradle ride tank suspension feature of P & H
wagons produces even load distribution to all four wheels when
transporting over rough, uneven terrain without transmitting
torsional stress and strain to the tank. Permits safer operation under
more adverse field conditions with light gauge tanks.

Vessels are externally blasted per SSPC-SP6. 41" to 46" diameter are external powder coat, 60" to 72" diameter are painted with acrylic

REINFORCING RIBS
Stiffening ribs are an especially important design detail on rotationally molded
plastic parts. Relatively speaking, rotationally molded parts frequently have walls
which are quite thin in comparison to their size. The skillful use of stiffening ribs
can increase the part’s stiffness by keeping the nominal wall to a minimum. The
correct use of stiffening ribs can result in strong, lightweight parts.
Rounded stiffening ribs are frequently specified, as they are easier to produce in
the mold. However, for the same amount of added plastic material used, the
rectangular shaped reinforcing rib will provide more stiffness, due to the
perpendicular positioning.
Rotational molding is a plastics processing technique that is ideally suited to
producing relatively large, hollow, seamless parts which are partially or totally
enclosed. This process has been in existence since the early 1930s.

The low processing pressure involved in rotational molding has the added
advantage of producing parts which are relatively stress free, as compared to
other high pressure processes. This advantage of the process is especially
important when considering large, load bearing parts in applications which must
provide corrosion or stress crack resistance.
