In 2015 the Eleventh Street Church of God
gave away 499 backpacks to kids in the
Canton area. Lets reach out to as many
families and kids as we can again this year
by showing the love of Christ at our
backpack giveaway August 7th!

The Church of God Men's Ox Roast is a two day event,
in which Christian men, ages 12 and up, can gather in
fellowship with one another. The Ox Roast has many different activities that both younger and older men can
enjoy, such as golfing and cornhole. Meals are provided
all weekend, including an entertaining pancake breakfast on day two, in addition to the ox roast itself. You will
get to hear a great speaker, different every year, speak
about life as a Christian man in today's society. After the
speaker, take a break and listen to some wonderful music and gather around the fire to share
in faith with others. Before the weekend is through, don't forget to stop by the merchandise
tent to get a shirt to remember the weekend, or find a book that will inspire you in the year to

Mitchel Burch sings baritone and brings many years of Southern
Gospel experience to the Townesmen. Mitch grew up in a musical,
singing, and preaching family. This year he celebrates being in the pastoral and preaching ministry for 40 years. He loves the close harmonies
and southern blend of the Townesmen sound. He has sung with several groups since his childhood, beginning with his family trio and New
Sound Trio, Evening Light Trio, Diciples Quartet, Dayspring Quartet and
Mercy River Quartet. Mitch was married to his wife Shelly of 36 years before she went home to be with the Lord in May of 2015. Mitch has two
children Andrew and Meagan and he currently resides in Middletown.
The Townesmen is a group that has been in existence for
many years. Started by four
laymen in a local church to
sing for its services. Now after
50 years the group is made
up of four people who are
long time servants of the
church, three serving as
worship leaders, and one
serving as a senior pastor.

Surf Shack Vacation Bible School 2016
