Poison Ivy, Oak or Sumac are no longer threats
IVYBLOCK® - is FDA approved, clinically tested and proven effective
against poison ivy, oak and sumac rash when applied before exposure.
Apply, like a sunscreen, prior to threat of exposure and re-apply every
four hours to maintain continued protection throughout the day.
IVY CLEANSE® - If IvyBlock was not applied before exposure to urushiol,
the oil that causes the allergic reaction to poison plants, Ivy Cleanse can
help. Proven to remove the urushiol from the skin, Ivy Cleanse comes
in an easy-to-use sealed packet so you can carry it with you anywhere
and does not require water.
Poison Ivy, Oak and Sumac facts:
• 70% of people are allergic to poison plants
• Collectively, poison ivy, oak and sumac are the most common cause of allergic contact dermatitis in the U.S.
• The rash develops one to three days after exposure and will usually take ten days to heal.
IVY SOOTHE® - In order to gain relief from the irritation caused by
poison ivy, oak or sumac, there is Ivy Soothe. Ivy Soothe contains 1%
hydrocortisone cream, which is proven to be effective in providing
temporary relief against the discomfort caused by poison plant rash.
Ivy Soothe also contains an aloe vera moisturizer for further comfort.
Maintain worker’s skin health when exposed to the sun
STOKO® UV SUNSCREEN TOWELETTE - Rated with a Sun Protection
Factor (SPF) 30 and packaged in convenient single use pouches, this sunscreen is very waterproof/sweatproof and protects against both UVA and UVB
rays. Passed Lineman’s Glove Testing. (50 towelettes per case).
STOKO® UV SUNSCREEN LOTION - Rated with a Sun Protection
Factor (SPF) 30 and packaged in small, easy-to-carry 2oz and 4oz bottles, this
sunscreen is very waterproof/sweatproof (tested per FDA requirements after
80 minutes of water activity). Protects against both UVA and UVB rays and
absorbs quickly into the skin and has a pleasant light scent. Passed Lineman’s
Glove Testing.
UV Radiation Facts:
• Employers should protect their workers from UV radiation, according to OSHA, through the use of personal protective equipment including, wide brimmed hats, protective clothing and/or sunscreen.
• UV radiation is a factor to consider on cold and overcast days, not just in the heat of summer. Any time skin is exposed to sunlight, sunscreen should be applied.
• An SPF 30 gives you protection from 95% of UV rays. An SPF 45 only increases your protection by 2%. The FDA is working toward no longer accepting ratings above an SPF 30.
Uncompromised cleaning performance
KRESTO® KWIK WIPES® - Kwik Wipes are moistened, textured towels that
feature the Kresto cleaning formulation for lifting away tough dirt, grease and
grime. Convenient to use at work stations, and outdoors, perfect for when a
sink is not available; designed for use on hands but can also be used on tools.
Non-dilimonene solution means greater skin compatibility. Available in 40ct,
70ct and 130ct packages.
KRESTO® KREME- With Kresto Kreme, you can have clean hands no matter
where you are. Its unique formula will remove heavy-duty grease, grime, and
dirt with or without water. Contains no grit or scrubber. Packaged in a
portable 1/2 gallon pump bottle.
STOKO® GEL - Stoko Gel instant hand sanitizer kills 99.99% of common
germs that can cause disease. It also contains a conditioner to prevent skin
from drying out. Sanitizes hands without water. Great for use before lunch or
during breaks when germ transfer is a consideration.
Outdoor cleaning facts:
• Typical waterless hand cleaners use petroleum-based solvents which are not good for skin health.
• Waterless hand cleaners can become contaminated when many hands share one bucket or can.
• Dermatitis is prevalent in outdoor occupations such as construction, maintenance fleets, farming, landscaping,
transportation occupations, forestry, etc.
• Your hand cleaner can contribute to dermatitis cases and skin compatibility should be considered when making
these purchases.
Conditioning is an important step for skin health
STOKOLAN® - A conditioner that is a favorite with men. This concentrated cream works overtime to make
your skin feel healthy and smooth. Formulated for hard working hands, Stokolan replaces the oils and lipids that
the skin loses in the course of a hard day’s work. Particularly necessary when skin is exposed to cold and/or dry
climates or harsh working environments. Can help prevent skin from cracking and splitting, particularly in the
fingertip area, if applied regularly.
STOKO® LOTION - This light formula is quick absorbing with a fresh fragrance. Stoko
Lotion soothes the skin while replacing lost moisture. Great for warmer and/or more moist
climates or seasons. Perfect for hard working skin that is in good shape but needs oil
replacement to keep it in good condition.
Conditioning tips:
• For outdoor workers, purchase gender-neutral scented creams.
• Conditioning becomes even more important when exposed to outdoor elements such as heat,
sun, wind, and cold climates. Loss of moisture causes the skin to chafe, crack and split; problems that can be prevented through proper conditioning.
• When applying, place the conditioner on the back of the hand and rub the back of the
hands together before rubbing into the palms. Pay special attention to fingertips and cuticles.
