elcome to the third annual “Foxy Ladies” Bred Female
Sale. This is truly an awesome set of females that
James and I are extremely proud of and pleased to offer. We are very excited about what the future has in store for this incredible set of females. No matter what aspect of the cattle industry
you are involved in--there is a female here for you.
Year after year, we enjoy talking to people about how the females
from our sale are working in their program. There is nothing a cattleman enjoys more than hearing how his cattle perform for their new
owners. If you need help with anything, please don’t hesitate to call.
We are here to assist you with your evaluation process and we will be
here to assist long after you make a purchase.
Last spring, our team lost an important member of our team. Renee
was a daughter, sister and most importantly a friend to so many involved with this event. You could always count on her help and her
smile, as she truly loved working with cattle. She touched so many
lives in her short time with us and she is greatly missed. Also we
want to thank to all the people that supported and encouraged the
Felt family. I can’t imagine their loss, but I know they truly appreciated everything.

Holy smokes! I dare you to try to find one that is made better than
this one. I would say donor potential is written all over this one. She
is long necked, square made and flat out good. You don’t just raise
Simmental cattle like this every day--you just dream about it. The XFactor is a Next Big Thing son that was Jerry Walsh’s top selling bull
a couple years ago that Bill Willers purchased and has went on to do
great things for their herd. The paternal granddam to this female goes
back to one of Dave Zeis’ best cow families, so there is definitely power
in the blood.

Broker has made quite a name for himself in the Simmental breed
and I can understand why. He has sired cattle with eye appeal, with
great structure, mass and fleshing ability. This Broker female is most
definitely one of my favorites for sure. She goes back to an awesome
Angus cow that was purchased in the Bruhn Angus Sale and has become a new donor for the Willers Mitten Brand program. I don’t know
how you can make a halfblood Simmental any better than this one.

The legendary Meyer 734 strikes again. For a bull that has been
around before dirt was made, he continues to make an impact on
the Simmental breed and all club calf genetics. I feel that this could
be one of the best ones, if not the best Meyer, I have seen. She is so
stout and big boned for a Meyer and has a nice hair coat. She must
get this from her mitten brand dam. Her dam is a really good EXAR
Phenomena 4037 daughter who has made plenty of good ones in her
day, including full sibs that sold in “THE ONE”, which is the National
Simmental sale in Denver. Keep bidding, a good Meyer will never hurt
anybody.

can call me crazy for selling this one, but I want to sell the best.

my hired man’s favorite from day one and he wants to buy her, as well.
Whoever owns her when the gravel stops the bidding will make a lot
of money from her production.

family in Missouri and made the overall in the junior national final
top female lineup. This one is bred to be good and should be an added
bonus for anybody.

expectations. This is a true breeding piece here.

No cattle will be loaded until paid for. Terms are cash, check with proper ID (e.
Driver’s license) or Master Card/Visa will be accepted with a 4% fee. For example,
if you are the successful bidder at $1,000 and you charge your purchase using your
credit card. Your credit card statement will show a payment of $1,040.
If you can’t attend the sale, contact one of the owners, sale managers, or consultants for information regarding our sight unseen buyer guarantee. We will arrange for a member of the sale staff to discuss the cattle with you. Bidding can
be done via phone or by a confidential bid prior to the sale. Please call between
November 25 - November 28 to obtain a bidder number. We will arrange to have
someone call you when the lot(s) you are interested in, enters the sale ring.
Please note that our sale will start on time and will move quickly, so be prepared
to make your bids promptly.
Liability
Anyone attending the sale attends at there own risk. Dunk Cattle Co., Felt Farms,
Sale Management, the guest consignors, and the sale personnel will not be held
responsible for any personal injury or loss for those attending the sale.
Trucking
We will assist you in finding the most reasonable trucking options possible.
Dwyer Cattle will have a truck available to haul cattle back to Illinois.
Insurance
Insurance will be available through James F. Bessler of Great American Insurance Group
phone 815-899-9121. Talk to Nick Dwyer after the sale to insure your purchases.
Sexed Semen Disclaimer
Due to the fact that sexed semen purchased only guarantees the chances of a
heifer being 90%, we will not be able to guarantee that a heifer will result from
the pregnancy. We do however guarantee that sexed semen was used on the lots
listed as such.
Herd Health
Health papers for interstate travel will be available. Bred females have been
pregnancy checked safe by a licensed Veterinarian. The buyer has within 21
days following the sale to re-pregnancy test their purchases. If any animals are
found open within those 21 days you must notify sale management at once for
an adjustment to be made. Updated breeding information will be available on a
supplement sheet sale day, this sheet will take precedence over statements in the
sale catalog.
