PROFESSIONAL AND PREMIUM ACCOUNTS
The ACDelco PSC Program helps grow your operation into an
even more successful, streamlined and profitable business. The
more ACDelco parts you purchase, the greater support and
services you receive. Ascending through two levels, you retain
the support services from the previous level while gaining new
benefits. Both accounts are based on total dollars of monthly
(not annual) reported purchases:
• Professional ($1 – $1,999): $50 quarterly fee*
• Premium (>$2,000): $200 quarterly fee*
(based on monthly purchase level)
PSC PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS**
All newly signed PSC Program participants will start and
remain at the current performance level until the next level
evaluation. Evaluations take place in January, April, July
and October.

When it comes to running your business, it helps to have
access to the most current information, first-class training and
insider offers. As an ACDelco PSC Program participant, that’s
exactly what you’ll get. From training to discounts to exclusive
tools such as GM Service Information (GMSi) and almost
everything in between, you can count on ACDelco for the
support you need to succeed.
Program benefits and details are subject to change.
Premium participants are able to send an unlimited number
of participants to Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses as well
as web-based. For 2016, Professional participants can
purchase discounted subscriptions for access to web-based
and instructor-led courses at $75 per quarter. Seminars and
in-shop training sessions are still available at no charge.
TRAINING METHODS
Technical Training
(Professional/Premium)
To keep a cutting edge, you need cutting-edge training.
That’s why ACDelco offers a blended learning approach to its
curriculum through web-based courses as well as instructor-led
sessions. With ACDelco’s extensive curriculum of hands-on and
24/7 on-demand, online, web-based and virtual classroom
courses, you and your employees will have the knowledge you
need to stay on top. From new technologies to next-generation
service tools to parts, products and comprehensive diagnostics,
you will have the training to effectively diagnose and fix your
customers’ vehicles right the first time.
• Web-Based Training (WBT) courses are typically less than
an hour and are available 24/7. They are accessed
through the ACDelco LMS at no additional charge to
PSC Program participants.
• Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses are typically 1- to 2- hour
courses presented by an ACDelco instructor. Training
is presented utilizing vehicles and hands-on exercises.
Registration for these courses can be accessed through the
LMS. Each instructor-led course is available to ACDelco
PSC Program participants for no additional charge or a
nominal fee based on your tier level.
• Seminar courses are 1- to 3-hour fast-paced sessions
presented by your local ACDelco representative. For the
convenience of your employees, these sessions can be
scheduled at a PSC or Direct Account location.
• Virtual Classroom Training (VCT) courses are 1- to 2-hour
courses presented by an ACDelco instructor. Training
is presented live over the Internet utilizing animations,
graphics and videos related to the content.
TRAINING EXCELLENCE AWARDS
The ACDelco Technician Training Program rewards technicians
and shops for making the commitment to enhance their skills
and expertise through ACDelco training. The program gives
technicians the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills
in each of the core automotive ASE areas. These are represented
on a training path, each of which includes about 40 hours of a
combination of web-based and face-to-face training.
TECHNICAL RESOURCES BENEFITS
Learning Management System (LMS)
(Professional/Premium)
The ACDelco LMS offers training to keep you on the cutting
edge, with many courses offered at no cost. Each class arms
you with the advanced knowledge you need and the added
assurance your customers rely on. The ACDelco LMS is simple
to use and offers technicians a convenient mechanism to view
course schedules and either:
• Enroll in live instructor-led or virtual classroom training courses
• Request classes at remote training sites
• Link to web-based training courses
The ACDelco LMS will generate email notifications and
reminders the week prior to training. It also includes training
reporting capabilities that allow tracking and monitoring of
training events and history.

The training path courses represent the latest automotive

ACDelco’s training seminars are designed to keep
technicians up to date on the rapidly changing technology
built into today’s cars and trucks. Each seminar offers
participants comprehensive service support while focusing
on a specific need. Contact your ACDelco representative

GM Automotive Service Education Program (GM ASEP)
(Professional/Premium)
Develop your service technicians with help from GM
Automotive Service Education Program (GM ASEP). While
many other colleges provide a generic auto technician
program, GM ASEP provides the in-depth training needed
in today’s high-tech automotive world. The GM Technician
Training Strategy is a three-tiered approach for allowing you
to train technicians at every level. Students can earn an
associate degree while working and learning on the job.

National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation
(NATEF) (Professional/Premium)
The mission of NATEF is to improve the quality of automotive
technician training programs nationwide at secondary
and postsecondary public and proprietary schools. NATEF
evaluates school-based training programs against standards
established jointly by the industry and education that reflect the
skills graduates must master to be successful in the industry.
GM and ACDelco are strong supporters of future
automotive technicians via NATEF-accredited secondary
and postsecondary schools. The ACDelco National Training
Program was rolled out in 2014 and includes 19 technical
and four business web-based training courses. Courses were
chosen to enhance the Maintenance and Light Repair Task list
that has been added to the required learning by NATEF.
Instructors need to register for access to training. Contact the

GM Service Information (GMSi)

Put GM’s No. 1 sources for auto repair in the palm of your
hand. GMSi is a web-based subscription service that
delivers the most accurate and current repair and diagnostic
information. GMSi is the most comprehensive collection
of vehicle diagnostic and service repair manuals for GM
vehicles. Speed service repairs and control costs with access
to GMSi. All Premium PSC program participants receive
GMSi at no charge if purchasing over $3,000. All others are
eligible for a discounted price of $900 (regularly $1,200).

software updates. Whether you need a little or a lot, choose

Account stocks. Access via a mobile site with VIN scanning.
You will have real-time part availability, price and labor. It’s the
quickest and easiest way to help minimize office time and make

Program participants can expand their range of tools with
Bosch tools. This full suite of tools covers all major system
areas, including diagnosis, engine analysis, exhaust, gas and

Diagnostic Hotline

Your technician has live access to the latest factory information
for difficult repairs and master technician specialists for every
make and model, foreign and domestic. With easy sign-up and
no monthly or yearly membership fees, you simply pay as you
go. There is no charge for preliminary information. Premium
PSC participants receive three calls per month at no charge.
You are only charged when troubleshooting begins, at the
discounted rate of $2.85 per minute for ACDelco PSC Program
participants, with a 3-minute admin fee on the first call of every
new car case. New PSC Program participants receive the first
10 minutes free. Diagnostic Hotline now offers a flat-rate price
option. This option allows the customer unlimited calls for one

PSC SELF-REPORTING AND APPROVAL PROCESS
ACDelco is putting the needs of the installer first, “the person
who throws the box away.” In doing this we realized there
were fundamental issues getting in the way of customers
having full access to our parts. We heard loud and clear that
PSC participants should get credit for ACDelco purchases,
regardless of source. This enhancement is in response
to customer feedback. PSC Program participants will be
rewarded for buying ACDelco regardless of the source.
It’s the right thing for the end customer.
The claims form is available on acdelco360.com and will
only show for those who are authorized to use the form and
make a claim.
Prefill with the following information:
• User Business Account Number (example: PSC SAD Code)
• Account Name
Allow user input of the following information:
• Purchased from (will have some predetermined businesses
listed or user can manually input seller)
• Invoice/receipt number
• Part number
• Amount
• Upload the receipt that supports the transaction data
(ONE receipt per claim form)
• Built-in check to ensure there are no duplications
regardless of the submitter within a PSC
An email is sent to the DM for approval/rejection. The DM
can approve/reject all or one entry on the form. After the DM
has approved, the records are marked eligible for processing.
What parts purchases are not eligible?
• Any non-U.S. ACDelco part
• Any GM dealer part that does not have a corresponding
ACDelco part number
• Parts must be purchased in the U.S.
• Parts purchases with invoice date more than 30 days old

HOW TO USE YOUR ACDelco REWARDS POINTS
Find your earnPOWER “wallet” on the left side of your
earnPOWER home page. Click on the “Shop” link found
beneath your earnPOWER balance to begin using your
ACDelco Rewards points.

Log in to view and use your rewards at acdelco360.com.
New PSC Program participants will receive log-in information
2 to 3 weeks after enrollment via the personal email provided

As an ACDelco PSC Program participant, you’re automatically
eligible to offer the Consumer Assurance and Roadside
Assistance programs to your customers. These programs
deliver the added confidence, quality and dependability
your customers expect and help take your shop to the next
level. Better still, ACDelco Premium accounts receive labor
reimbursement, and the ACDelco Customer Support Center
is available to help resolve concerns and verify questions
regarding marketing and sales information.
Consumer Assurance
(Professional/Premium)
Give your customers a confidence boost by leveraging the
Consumer Assurance Program. This program offers customers
a 24-month or 24,000-mile limited warranty (whichever
comes first) for parts and labor on ACDelco parts installed
by ACDelco PSC Program participants. If the customer
experiences a failure of the part within the warranty period
and is more than 25 miles from the original repair facility,
the repair will be made at no additional cost to you or your
customer. Reimbursement will be made to the facility based
upon its normal hourly rate (door rate). Labor hours are paid
according to the nationally recognized labor rates. Repair
costs shall not exceed the costs of the original repair or
service. Claims will be monitored closely. If claim requests
exceed normal claim rates, ACDelco will institute a local
review process with appropriate personnel to review claims
and determine additional requirements and/or eligibility.
When you make a repair using ACDelco products, give
your customer a Consumer Assurance brochure containing
program information and a toll-free repair contact number.
If there is a problem, all your customer has to do is call
800.ACDelco and select prompt 3 to be directed to the
nearest participating ACDelco Professional Service Center.
How To Obtain A Claim
If you are servicing a vehicle that received the original repair
at another ACDelco PSC, you will be compensated at your
labor rate up to the cost of the original repair (market rate).
1. Customer is directed to your shop.
2. Collect a copy of the original Repair Order (RO) from
the customer or the original ACDelco PSC and verify
that the part is still under warranty (within 24 months or
24,000 miles of use).
3. Call the Warranty Administrator at 800.ACDelco,
prompt 3; tell them you have a customer from a different
shop requesting Consumer Assurance and provide the
original RO details to verify the claim and receive a
claim number.
4. Perform the proper diagnostic procedures.
5. Call the Warranty Administrator at 800.ACDelco,
prompt 3, with estimate and request approval PRIOR to
any warranty repair work being performed.
6. The Warranty Administrator will advise if the customer’s
claim is valid and the estimate is accurate. If valid, they
will advise the shop to proceed.
7. Complete warranty work.
8. Part warranty should be processed through your local
ACDelco parts supplier.
9. Labor hours are paid according to the nationally
recognized labor guides for the part being replaced
based upon the normal hourly rate (door rate).
10.Fax a copy of the original RO, replacement RO along with
the invoice for replacement part(s) to 866.658.1246 (the
claim number needs to be written on each page faxed).
11.Upon receipt of the three documents, the Warranty
Administrator will verify the information and will call the
repair facility and provide a credit card payment (check
option is also available).
Labor Reimbursement

ACDelco stands behind you on customer comebacks. All
Premium level ACDelco PSC Program participants are covered
for labor reimbursement for covered ACDelco parts originally
installed by the ACDelco PSC should they fail. Parts should be
warrantied through the normal process with the parts supplier
or ACDelco Direct Account.
How To Obtain A Claim
1. Customer returns with a defective ACDelco part.

is based on the vehicle being subjected only to normal use
and receiving reasonable and necessary maintenance.
For Premium ACDelco PSC participants, reimbursement will
be made to the ACDelco PSC facility based upon its normal
hourly rate (door rate) to be capped at a maximum of $100
per hour. Labor hours are paid according to the nationally
recognized labor guides up to a maximum of 3 hours for
each validated claim.
Repair costs shall not exceed the costs of the original repair
or service. Claims will be monitored closely. If claim requests
exceed normal claim rates, ACDelco will institute a local
review process with appropriate personnel to review claims
and determine additional requirements and/or eligibility.

For Professional ACDelco PSC participants, labor is the
responsibility of the PSC.
For 2016, the ACDelco Consumer Assurance Program
supports light- and medium-duty commercial vehicles serviced
by eligible PSC Program participants. The Program will also
cover: emergency service, taxi or vehicles with a manufacturer’s
load rating over one ton up to the equivalent of an F-550.
The Warranty Administrator will determine eligibility based
upon vehicle information provided by the PSC participant
and specified on the original repair invoice.
What Is Not Covered
(Inside and Outside 25 miles)
The customer must pay for any non-warranty service ordered
to be performed at the same time as any warranty service.
This warranty will not apply if the vehicle has been damaged
by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident, alteration
or “tampering with” (by other than the Facility or Facility
employees). INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
ARE NOT INCLUDED (additional expenses which you may
incur as the result of faulty repair or service).
Specific exclusions are: any battery, internal engine,
transmission, clutch or differential repairs, associated gaskets
and seals or assembly replacement. Also excluded are auto
body, paint, molding, glass repairs, tires and used parts. In
addition, vehicles used for farm/ranch/agriculture, off-road
or severe service are also excluded. The claims administrator
will determine eligibility based upon vehicle information
provided by the PSC Program participant specified on the
original repair invoice.

Warranty Administrators are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Monday through Friday (Eastern time) and Saturday from

Roadside Assistance
(Professional/Premium)
Roadside Assistance can be provided to all customers of
a Premium ACDelco PSC Program participant, regardless
of the brand of part installed or service performed.
Customer must have a paid invoice from your shop dated
January 1, 2012, or later. Roadside Assistance begins on the
date identified on the original invoice and continues for a
period of 12 months, with no mileage restrictions. This benefit
is available only to the original purchaser and coverage is
strictly limited to the specific vehicle identified on the original
invoice. Coverage based on the vehicle being subjected only
to normal, non-commercial use, and receiving reasonable and
necessary maintenance.
Roadside Assistance is available in the United States
and Canada.
Here is what is included:
• Towing (can be used for Consumer Assurance)
• Battery jump-start
• Changing a flat tire
• Fuel, oil, fluid and water delivery (customer must pay
for the actual cost of fluids delivered)
• Lock-out service
Customers in need of Roadside Assistance must call
800.ACDelco, prompt 3, to be connected with the 24-hour
nationwide service provider. The payment is required after
service(s) have been completed; credit card payment is the
preferred method. Customers will be reimbursed with a check
for covered services up to a maximum of $75 per occurrence
upon submitting the proper documentation.
Roadside Assistance (Continued)
Customers must file for Roadside Assistance reimbursement by
submitting the following information within 60 days of the date
of service to the following address:
1. A photocopy of the original invoice identifying the
participating repair center and the services performed.
The invoice must identify the year, make and model of
the vehicle.
2. The customer’s complete name, address and telephone number.
3. A photocopy of the paid invoice for roadside assistance
from a valid auto service provider. This paid invoice must
detail the name, address and telephone number of the
service provider. It must also identify the specific vehicle
receiving the service.

Enterprise® Rent-A-Car Discount
