T he new PHAETON FX Trumpet offers a number of outstanding exclusive innovations
developed by our acoustical engineers including 3 sets of interchangeable bracing machined
from Bronze, Stainless Steel and annealed Brass. Every player now has the easy option for fine
tuning his instrument to suit his taste and performing requirements.
T he new beefed-up one piece stunning mouthpiece receiver adds a new dimension of control
at the point of critical tone production.
R ifle drilled ports in both horizontal Phaeton style braces reduces weight while adding
essential response in every register.
A fast taper lead pipe with a larger bore adds more dynamics when needed. When you
couple this with our larger bell, it is impossible to over-blow this horn. Reversed tuning slides
and lead pipe provide for the smoothest uninterrupted air flow imaginable.

T he PHT-4077BS Phaeton 4 Valve Bb/A professional Piccolo trumpet was designed as a classic Brasswind with exceptional
intonation, design & focused sound. Orchestral artists will find this Piccolo Trumpet to be ideal for all playing venues.
Its balanced weight, medium bore coupled with outstanding craftsmanship complete this instrument’s artistic characteristics in the
world market.
The finish options available are easy to order with our unique “interchangeable” bell configuration. Two bells, one in Silver and
one in 18K Gold Plate, can be easily changed in seconds. Our 18K Gold Trim Kit offers top/bottom caps, piston posts and
finger buttons that contrast beautifully with the brilliant deep bright Silver Plate body.

PHAETON Flugelhorns have quickly evolved into an “in-demand” Jazz instrument with
Phaeton’s popular trade mark short piston stroke design. This perfectly balanced horn is
fabricated from select Yellow Brass and with its matched brilliant Rose Brass bell, this horn
projects a solid/focused mellow sound for any venue.
By utilizing our newly re-designed ‘direct air’ column, every player is able to more easily
control volume, projection and focus in all ranges. Pistons are interchangeable for quick
cleaning/lubrication. No more worries about where each piston fits.
Solid brass machined finger buttons coupled with heavy weight top/bottom caps make this
horn most desirable for any demanding player. Phaeton continues to provide the highest
quality and best value compared to all others in the marketplace.
Phaeton Flugelhorn finishes are virtually the same as those offered in our trumpet line-up.

design a CLASSIC
Phaeton Trumpet model,
we asked top artists
playing in Symphony,
Opera & Studio orchestras
what their primary requirements were for most
demanding performances.
Their answers were simple,
honest and revealing. Our
job, now, was to meet
these expectations.
Phaeton Pocket Trumpets are virtual clones of our great full size trumpets. Same short stroke
pistons; same bell construction; same bore size; same trim components and same case.
These great trumpets have the best “tight wrap” design available in the market. This
perfectly balanced instrument is designed for players who are looking for that
special/unique brilliant sound produced only by Pocket Trumpets.
These horns are ideal for small Jazz and Dixie combos when that unique “Pocket” sound is
most desirable. Phaeton Pocket Trumpets are ranked as the finest horn of its type produced.
All technical specifications are the same as the Bb/C full size trumpets.
We agreed
that a Heavy
Weight solid
brass mouthpiece receiver
coupled with a
virgin Sterling
Silver fast taper lead pipe was #1 on our list of
criteria. Then we had to solve the critical issue
of timbre and focus. The answer was a one piece
Rose Brass bell with a full radius bend plus a
solid bead wrap Bell Rim was the optimum
choice for ideal sound projection with
crisp focus.
Our ‘short stroke’ piston design answered any
concerns about speed and response time with
any difficult
