Seves è il leader mondiale in due nicchie di mercato, gli isolatori
per il settore elettrico ed il mattone di vetro per l’architettura e
l’arredo.
Seves è l’integrazione, realizzata nell’arco di un decennio a partire dal marzo 1997, di tutte le attività di Vetroarredo, Sediver,
PCC Insulators ed Isoladores Santana, gruppi industriali con
storia e leadership riconosciute in tutto il mondo.
Unica società ad aver fatto del mattone di vetro un core-business,
Seves ha creato la Divisione Seves glassblock, totalmente dedicata alla produzione e alla distribuzione del mattone di vetro
in tutto il mondo.
Dopo le acquisizioni compiute, in Seves glassblock ora convivono e sono valorizzati la tradizione ed il know-how dei marchi
più prestigiosi che hanno fatto la storia del mattone di vetro:
Vetroarredo, Vitrablok, Solaris, Weck, Vidromatone, Sindoco.
Coerentemente con le origini della società, la Divisione Seves
glassblock prosegue il cammino con l’obbiettivo di affrancare il
mattone di vetro dalla logica di prodotto marginale, liberandone le grandi potenzialità.
Fin dalla sua costituzione infatti l’azienda si è posta l’obbiettivo
di cambiare le regole della produzione e della destinazione di
un materiale, il mattone di vetro, per troppo tempo considerato
“povero”, prettamente “funzionale” all'industria dell’edilizia,
prevalentemente utilizzato in situazioni di carenza di luce.
Seves glassblock ha trasferito, dunque, nel mattone vetroso tutta
l'esperienza tecnologica più avanzata, insistendo sulla purezza,
brillantezza, trasparenza, resistenza, nonché sulle caratteristiche
tecniche, aggiungendo il nuovo fattore, o, per meglio dire, la
prerogativa riservata solo ai vetri sofisticati: il colore.
La specializzazione degli stabilimenti Seves, delle fabbriche allestite nei vari Paesi ha modificato ed ampliato la gamma dei
modelli e dei moduli complementari, rendendo possibili soluzioni identitarie e personalizzate.
La ricerca ha innovato il prodotto, a cominciare dalla creazione
di formati come Pegasus, il mattone “con le ali”, fino alla definizione dei migliori sistemi di installazione, posa e finitura,
anche a secco.
Grazie all'utilizzo di materie prime della più alta qualità, all’uso
di impianti studiati appositamente, all'applicazione di sperimentate tecniche di colorazione e di trattamento delle
superfici, nonché a rigorose procedure di controllo qualità,

production and distribution process of the glass block, a material

construction industry, and used only in applications in need
of light.
Seves glassblock has bestowed the most advanced technological

transparency and resistance, as well as its technical characteristics,

The specialization of Seves’s plants, located in various countries,

the Pegasus format - from the glass block “with wings” - to the

treatment techniques, as well as rigorous quality control

Tradition and Decorum
Basic è la linea di Seves glassblock che propone prodotti
espressione della più qualificata tradizione legata al mattone
di vetro, in quanto materiale storicamente nato ed impiegato per le proprie caratteristiche funzionali, cioè il
passaggio della luce, a cui si sommano gli elevati standard di
qualità tipici della produzione Seves.
Basic è composta da 4 gamme: Neutri, Pezzi Speciali,
Colorati a Tinte Tenui, e Colorati a tinte forti (Brilly). Dallo
stile monocromatico neutro funzionale al passaggio della
luce, ai ricercati disegni vetro, dalla serie colorata a tinte
tenui a quella dai colori vivaci e brillanti, Basic è un’offerta
completa di prodotti classici per impieghi rispondenti ad
esigenze strutturali, senza però dover rinunciare al gusto
estetico.
La produzione Basic di Seves glassblock è Made in Bohemia,
regione nota in tutto il mondo per le antiche tradizioni dei
suoi cristalli, sinonimo di affidabilità e garanzia sul mercato.

The Basic Line, part of the Seves glassblock product offering,
is an expression of the most qualified tradition tied to the
glass block, a material historically born and employed for its
functional characteristics such as the passage of light, to
which Seves has added the elevated quality standards typical
of its production.
Basic is comprised of 4 product ranges: Clear Glass, Special
Pieces, Coloured blocks with soft shades, and Coloured blocks
with strong shades (Brilly). From the functional, clear
monochromatic style to the passage of light and refined glass
designs, from the coloured series with soft shades to the
vivacious and bright colours, the Basic Line is a complete
offering of classic glass blocks for all structural requirements,
without however, having to renounce the aesthetical taste.
The Seves glassblock Basic Line is Made in Bohemia, known
throughout the world for its ancient crystal traditions and
synonymous for reliability and guarantee within the market.

Seves S.p.A. assicura che i parametri tecnici, dimensionali ed estetici dei propri prodotti rispondono alle normative di settore per ciascuna caratteristica (DIN 18175/77,
EN 1051/1, EN 1051/2 ). Tuttavia, non avendo Seves alcuna possibilità di controllo sulle condizioni di posa, le modalità di esecuzione, sull’utilizzo della manodopera
competente nell’installazione e sul corretto uso dei materiali accessori, nessuna garanzia può essere estesa al materiale dopo la posa in opera dello stesso.
Seves S.p.A. guarantees that the technical, dimensional and aesthetic features of its products meet relevant regulations for each characteristic (DIN 18175/77, EN
1051/1, EN 1051/2). Seves, has no way of controlling installation conditions and methods, the use of appropriately skilled labour, and the proper use of the accessory materials, no guarantee can cover materials that prove defective after installation and/or assembly.

Tra le norme Europee di riferimento nel settore del mattone di vetro ne esiste una in particolare, la EN 1051-1, che definisce i parametri dimensionali, le tolleranze,
le forme e le classi di appartenenza delle varie famiglie di mattoni siano essi per pareti o pavimenti. La norma definisce tre “CLASSI” (3 livelli qualitativi) in base alle
tolleranze dimensionali con le quali i mattoni sono prodotti: Classe 1,2,3. Rispetto alla normativa Europea EN 1051-1, tutta la produzione Seves si colloca in Classe
1 e cioè nella fascia più alta della qualità del prodotto.
Between all the European regulations in glass block sector, there is a special one, EN 1051-1, that defines the maximum size variation, shape parameters, as well as
the classes that the various families of blocks for walls and floors fall under.
The standard subdivides the blocks into three different “CLASSES” (3 quality levels) on the basis of the maximum size variation allowed for blocks: Class 1,2,3.
Seves production, in accordance with to the European Regulations EN 1051-1, belongs to Class 1, which is the highest possible quality level.
