Alpine Satin Band
{Cotton / Polyester Blend}
Alpine Satin Band Cotton Poly blend brings
together the best of both worlds. In this day costs
of ownership are a big factor and the Alpine
product helps keep those in check. The fabric is
a beautiful blend of cotton and polyester finished
together in a stain band design. You will see a
longer life than an all cotton product, and color
retention will outlast the competition.

Partridge Eye incorporates a fine diamond pattern around
the edge with a beautiful sateen section in the center.
Cloths of larger sizes are diamond pattern throughout

Box Pleat:
A box pleat is a 3 inch wide pleat
with a 3” wide space between
pleats. Box pleat is produced
with an overlocked hem on
the bottom unless otherwise
requested.
Casual Shirred Pleat:
A gathered pleat that is formed
with 2 lines of sewing with
1.5” wide header. The fabric is
gathered 1.5 to 1 for standard
fullness.
Expo Pleat:
A folded pleat that is formed with
2 lines of sewing with 1.5” wide
space in between. The fabric is
gathered 1.2 to 1.
Shirred Traditional Pleat:

Drapes 4 Show has developed a suitable replacement. We admit it, we like those
vinyl mats as well, but the difficulty in cleaning them and the left over food in the
mat when they can’t be cleaned fast enough make them more a retail product.
We are stocking two sizes but can produce any size and any shape you want.
Made from rock solid polyester, these are machine wash/machine dry friendly.

very large concert drape. Fabrics from polyester satins to 23 oz. velour.
Truss ties can be added for extra flexibility. For ease of use, we recommend a maximum of three panels sewn together, but can manufacture

Pinch Pleat
Pinch Pleated draperies have been the most popular style for decades due to their versatility,
dramatic effect on a room’s décor and their superior insulation value which is a result of the
additional fabric within the treatment.
The look is elegant but the formal style allows for a variety of fullnesses. The gathered
series of pleats creates a ruffled appearance at the triple-pleated header and wide folds
when the draperies are closed. They are weighted at the bottom seams and corners to
ensure even, smooth pleating and a clean, crisp appearance.
• Pinch Pleat (or French Pleat) draperies are the most
popular type of window treatment
• Attach to slide carriers with slip-in or pin-on hooks
• Can be used with most track systems
• Headings can be suspended under the track or over
the face of it
• Can be tied back
Pinch (French) Pleat

Ripplefold
Soft, ripple-like folds flow smoothly from one end of the track to the other. Panels snap to
carriers and folds are identically spaced, eliminating flat drapery areas. This also creates a
consistent undulating appearance when seen inside the room or from the outside.
Other advantages of this style
Low maintenance - The speed and ease of snapping panels into place reduces installation
and maintenance time and expense. When taken off the track for cleaning, Ripplefold
draperies are perfectly flat. Cleaning and pressing are simpler and less expensive. When
panels are snapped back onto the carriers the draperies fall into graceful uniform folds.
Depending on fullness, Ripplefold draperies may require less fabric per panel than pinch
pleated draperies.
Wider window exposure because the fabric stacks back tighter to the track ends than pinch
pleated drapes allowing more light into the room.
Note: Not all fabrics work well in the Ripplefold style. For best appearance, the drapery fabric
should be compatible with the heading system. Contact us to confirm suitability of material.

Side Hems: 1 ½” double turned hem using blindstitch
Corners: Sewn closed at the bottom hems
Weights: A ¾” square covered weight is sewn at each seam and corner of face fabric.
Chain weights are available for additional stability.
Fan Fold: Draperies are packed fan folded. Proper installation requires the “breaking” of the
buckram in between each pleat. Creasing during shipping is unavoidable and steaming may
be required.
Pin Hooks: Permanent, adjustable and dry cleanable.
Fire Retardant: All materials meet NFPA 701 Fire Retardance Code.
Fabrication Options: Drapery is fabricated to size specified minus ½" to 1" for floor
clearance. Accent bandings are available both horizontally and vertically. Many other Flame
Retardant Blackout Lining widths and colors are available.

It is typically 20” - 25” wide and falls to the top of the bed skirt.
• Face and back can either be the same or contrasting fabrics.
• Edge detail can be knife edge, tape edge, welt or flange.

Bed Skirts
Decking: Manufactured using 70/30 polyester/cotton blend or 100% polyester (Fillion).
Lining: Optional lining is a 70/30 poly/cotton blend or 100% polyester.
• Face fabric on lined bed skirts will have a 1” turn to the back side of the skirt.
• Unlined bed skirts will have a double turned 1” lock-stitched hem.
Platform Strip: All of our bed skirts are manufactured with a 4” platform strip
so the decking does not show if the mattress slips.
• The 4” wide strip on all three sides is made from the same fabric as the skirt.
Size: Width and length of box spring + the drop which is normally 13” – 14”
Drops should be calculated ½” above the floor.
Bed Skirt Options
Options available to help prevent or minimize slippage:
• Fitted Cap: A 4” wide strip of decking extending over the top of the bed and enclosing
the top corners to minimize movement (slippage ) of the skirt.
• Elasticized corners: A fitted sheet with elasticized corners holds the bed skirt in place.
• Hugger: A fitted sheet with elasticized banding around the entire perimeter to reduce
movement of the bed skirt.
• Grippers: Non-slip triangular corner pads are sewn into the underside of the platform
to prevent movement of the bed skirt.

Standard Box Spring Covers
This form fitting fabric cover is an elegant solution that snugly fits over and conceals the
entire box spring.
Top Decking: Manufactured using 70/30 polyester/cotton blend or optional 100%
polyester (customer may specify preference).
Top Platform Strip: All of our box spring covers are manufactured with a 4” platform
strip so the decking does not show if the mattress slips. The 4” wide strip on all three
sides is made from the same fabric as the box spring cover.
Size: Width, length and height of box spring + 2” for ease of installation.
Classic-Zip Box Spring Covers
Top Platform Strip: Rather than the fitted sheet style (in which the underside of the
matteress is exposed) this is a full-enclosure method wherein the entire box spring is
closely surrounded by fabric and, once the box spring is positioned inside, the opening
along the bottom seam at the head of the bed can then be zipped closed. This location
allows for the zipper to be hidden from guest view. The rest of the construction is the
same as the standard style with decking and platform strip. The underside of the cover is
made with the same decking material.
Top and Bottom Deckings: Manufactured using 70/30 polyester/cotton blend or
optional 100% polyester (customer may specify preference).
Top and Bottom Platform Strips: 4” fabric strips in the same fabric as the box spring
case are placed on all four sides on both the upper and underside of the case so the
decking does not show if the mattress slips.

Filling: Bonded polyester is the standard for commercial bed coverings.
- Our yardage requirements are based on the use of standard 8 oz. fill.
- Other fill weights, such as 6 oz., 10 oz., and 12 oz. are available.
Seams: Fabrics that are 126” wide ( based on a 21” drop ) are seamless.
- We pre=seam and pattern match all 54” wide fabric prior to quilting.
- All bedspreads are pattern and quilt matched.
Lining: Standard – Pre-shrunk 70/30 polyester/cotton blend, compatible with all face fabrics.
- Upgrade - A high count 56/44 cotton/polyester pre=shrunk lining.
- Additional upcharge options: 100% polyester and colored linings.
Hems: Single-needle hems are lock-stitched through quilting to prevent the spread from
unraveling and create a 1” self-welt look.
Finish: All corners are mitered for strength.
Options: Welt cord is available from ¼” to 1” to create a border around the width of the bed’s
top edge or around the bottom perimeter.

Festooning
Decorative Embroidered Lines
Festooning: The process of stitching one or multiple lines of thread for the purpose of adding decoration.
Drapes 4 Show offers two types of stitching. Stitch type 201, based upon European designs, is a smooth,
luxurious design. The machinery used to produce this stitch also has attachments to produce beautiful
scallops of all shapes and sizes. This type of stitch is best suited for single line applications.
Stitch type 331 is a robust, dense and pronounced line. Depending upon the color used, this stitch can
be a subtle understatement, or a pronounced décor enhancement. This application is best suited for
multiple line applications. The space between lines is even and perfectly parallel.
For both operations, Drapes uses a 100% Polyester thread that is color fast, highly abrasion resistant, and
resistant to many forms of bleach. We are pleased to provide you with a sample so that you can test the
difference! The best part, 400 colors to choose from and we do this in house. No need to wait for an
overseas shipment! We have been known to decorate upwards of 1500 pillow shams in a day.
Hemstitching
Hemstitching: The process involves a punch
that spreads apart the yarns of the fabric and
then stitches the hole open.
Drapes 4 Show manufacturing staff are artisans
when it comes to hemstitching. It is a process
that defines quality and we take great pride in
our abilities to fabricate it.
Not all materials take the process well, we can
provide samples for you to test at your facility.

Made from an incredibly luxurious long staple
cotton, our micro stripe pattern is an instant
improvement to any room setting. Flat sheets
and pillow cases are made with an ample
four inch wide hem. The sheet is a perfect
