Meridian crosses all boundaries.
Meridian 时差 is a cross-cultural organization which
aims at promoting cultural exchange and artistic
creation, in China and the rest of the world — regardless
of any boundaries of time, space or culture. It was born
and established in 2010, in Beijing. Meridian currently
focuses on publishing projects, exhibitions, and the
organisation of various culturally meaningful events.
Meridian Space ( 时差空间 ), an events venue, gallery and
café which opened in April 2014, aims at bringing new
sources of inspiration, creativity, and mutual learning to
curious minds of all cultures.

Meridian Art Lounge
Seating capacity: 70 to 80 people.
• Meridian is partnering with the young,
innovative and Beijing-based bicycle
company 700Bike. While offering its space
and walls to exhibitions and cross-cultural
events, Meridian Space’s Art Lounge also acts
as a breeding ground for Beijing’s modern
bicycle culture.
• 700Bike is currently showcasing four
state-of-the-art bikes designed specially
for young urban dwellers: Houjie, Houjie
MINI, Meishuguan, and Baihua. Products and
spare parts from legendary providers such as
Brooks or Chrome are also on offer, as well
as funky bike-themed memorabilia.
• Apart from bike-related events, Meridian’s
favourite performances, exhibitions, private
parties and corporate events are still taking
place in the Art Lounge.

Seating capacity: up to 30 people.
A large meeting room for children’s or
adult’s bilingual workshops, focusing on
language, culture and artistic creation.
This is also our main exhibition space,
including 44 m2 of floor space and 53 m2 of
wall space (plans available on demand).

Café Patio
& Café opens onto a 200 square-metre patio with a water basin. From spring to
autumn, it becomes the perfect place to relax outside with a cup of coffee or a
glass of wine.
