PAYMENT, FINANCING AND FUNDING
Payment, At Time of Funeral Arrangements
The Purchaser agrees to pay Tubman a deposit and the balance owing within 30 days of signing the contract. At 30
days the balance of funds owing to Tubman will be automatically withdrawn from the credit card given to Tubman on
file, pending notification to the card holder or will be paid by cheque, bank draft or cash. The Purchaser acknowledges
that for any unpaid balance interest will be accrued at the rate of 2% per month (24% per annum) until the date
payment is made in full. Any costs incurred by Tubman for late or deficient payments or incurred through collection
will be charged to the Purchaser. Payments may be made in cash, by cheque, or by Visa / Master Card. Additional
information available upon request.
Funding Pre-arrangements
If you are prepaying for services or supplies, pre-authorized chequing is available as well as payment plans over time
and competitive financing programs. Prepayment may be made into a Trust and/or Insurance funding vehicles.
Refundable Deposit for Cremated Remains
The Purchaser agrees to pay a refundable deposit of $350 to Tubman. Tubman will retain the cremated remains for one
year from the date of cremation. If the cremated remains are not claimed within one year, Tubman may inter the
cremated remains in a cemetery, including in a common lot for which the cemetery is the interment rights holder, and
Tubman will retain the deposit referred to in this section. The Purchaser acknowledges that if the cremated remains
are interred the Purchaser will be unable to claim the cremated remains. If at the time the contract is signed an
inurnment is planned through Tubman, Tubman reserves the right to waive the deposit.
