About Moose Mountains Regional Greenways
Moose Mountains Regional Greenways (MMRG) is a non-profit land conservation organization serving
the towns of Brookfield, Farmington, Middleton, Milton, New Durham, Wakefield, and Wolfeboro. This
grassroots, membership-driven land trust represents a dynamic collaboration between community
leaders, private landowners, concerned citizens, and public and private conservation organizations.
Our mission is to conserve and connect important water resources, working farm and forest lands,
wildlife habitats, and recreation lands. We have helped conserve over 4,700 acres of land since our
inception in the year 2000. MMRG also organizes educational workshops, outings, and other events to
inform the public about the benefits of our area’s natural resources. Our efforts are supported by taxdeductible donations and membership contributions from people like you who appreciate and care
about our region’s quality of life and natural resources. Your support enables us to continue our efforts to conserve our most special
natural areas. For more information or to get involved, please call us at 603-473-2020, email [email protected], or see www.mmrg.info.
About Branch Hill Farm
Branch Hill Farm, a private operating foundation also known as the Carl Siemon Family Charitable Trust,
is an award winning Tree Farm and working agricultural farm in Milton Mills, NH. Branch Hill Farm began
in 1962 when Carl Siemon purchased his grandparent's 1786 farmhouse on 3 acres of land. Carl worked
to restore the original 100-acre farm, which has since grown to over 3,000 acres of managed forest and
farmland through 41 separate land acquisitions. The property of Branch Hill Farm is open to the public
for multiple uses. The land serves as a living laboratory for educating all age groups about good forest
and field management. It also fulfills Carl's wish that his protected land would provide "an oasis of
forests, fields, wildlife, recreation, clean water and air for generations to come." Branch Hill Farm strives to adhere to the standards
established by the Zero Waste International Alliance. Help us reduce waste by using the waste recovery stations around to compost
and recycle. For more information, please see www.branchhillfarm.org
