Lectures will provide resources that promote involvement on multiple levels in all four types of research for cancer health disparities, and report on how the recent passage of the Healthcare Reform Law will impact cancer health disparities. Breakout sessions will give participants the strategies necessary to implement patient centered care practices and integrate evidence-based medicine into treatment planning for all patients regardless of their socioeconomic status.
