Addition of new NGX cleared delivery
locations in Canada and U.S.
During the fourth quarter of 2014, NGX added three new Canadian TransCanada Mainline locations. TCPL Emerson 1, TCPL GMI EDA, and
TCPL Enbridge EDA were added to expand NGX’s presence in Eastern Canada. NGX also added IGT Iroquois (into), Katy Oasis, Transco Z6 NNY,
Transco Z6 NNY (North), TGT N LA to our U.S. delivery locations product offerings.

In June of 2015, NGX will also add TCPL East Hereford, Rex East – ANR and Millennium East Pool.
This will bring NGX’s clearing abilities to over 80 physical locations across North America.

Expansion of NGX TradePath
As reported in the last issue of NGX Insight, NGX successfully implemented NGX TradePath and began hosting the WattEx Ancillary Services market on
July 7, 2014. NGX is pleased to announce that on June 9, 2015, the EPCOR RRO procurement auctions will be moved onto NGX TradePath. By retiring the
NGX Power Auction System, which has been in service for nine years, participants transitioning to NGX TradePath can expect significant improvements.
HIGH LEVEL CHANGES AND FEATURES INCLUDE:
• Browser-based system which eliminates system installation issues and allows
the system to be accessed from any location with a supported web browser
• Improved functionality and user interface
• New historical reporting including Trade Summary and Order History
• Improved order release and order management tools
• Trades will automatically be loaded into the NGX Clearing system and
be immediately available via NGX web services
In addition to WattEx and the EPCOR RRO procurement auctions, NGX TradePath has been designed to host auctions in the energy sector and beyond.
NGX TradePath offers participants web-based auction technology designed to bring competitive pricing, liquidity, price transparency and efficiency to any
market. NGX TradePath has the ability to host traditional bilateral auctions or cleared auctions. With the ability to offer cleared auctions, auction hosts can
leverage NGX’s ever growing list of clients. Currently NGX has over 225 signed counterparties who clear natural gas and power in North America. Access to this
client list via NGX TradePath makes it the best option for auction hosts when picking a platform.
Calgary Stampede
The second Thursday in July has become a day to remember
over the years, the day of the NGX/TMX Stampede customer
appreciation event.
This year’s NGX/TMX Stampede party will be hosted again
at Craft Beer Market. The venue was very well received by
over 700 guests last year, accompanied by live music, great
food selection and tasty drinks.

U.S. Paintball Adventures May 2015
After a two year hiatus, NGX’s Annual Paintball event was back and better than ever. We had great support from our friends and
colleagues; from pipeline representatives to schedulers and traders. After a couple of exciting hours of shooting each other on what
ended up being a rainy afternoon, everybody stuck around for pizza, beer and cupcakes. We gave out NGX Paintball T-shirts and had
an awards ceremony in which trophies were handed out to the ones that overachieved and underachieved. This event has proven to
be an outing that many in the industry anxiously wait for - year after year. Special thanks go to the NGX staff that worked hard in
making this outing the success that it was.
