Thanks Everyone!
Dear Families and Friends,
Thank you to everyone for helping to make this year’s fete another great success. As a result of everyone’s hard work, we
raised an amazing $59,700! This money will be given directly to the P&F and go back into the school to support our
children’s education.
To Mrs Sillis and Mrs Charadia — thank you for your 100% support and encouragement leading up to the fete. To all the
teaching and administration staff, including Miss Costello and Kim Mangiapane, thank you for all your help in distributing
bulletins, collecting donations, sending letters, sorting grocery baskets, inspiring the children to sell tickets, bring back gift
boxes, create artwork, practise dance routines and everything else that went on in the classrooms ...thank you!
Our sponsorships this year were the highest recorded. A big thank you to all our generous sponsors and to the amazing
Juliet Nelson who dedicated so much of her time to gather this support. What a fantastic result.
The Fete Executive thanks our Fete Treasurer - Mark Scarce and all the Stall Coordinators listed below. What makes
them great is that they juggle their busy schedules to volunteer and fulfil their roles so efficiently each year.
This year we had some new parents join the Fete Committee. They were Julie Perkins (Produce), Emma-Jane Garbutt
and Amy Vella (Rides), Rose Billet (Devonshire Tea), Tara Roach (who filled in on the Hairspray Stall), Adrian Quig
(Chocolate Wheel), Matt Hooper (Donuts) and Kate Power (Face Painting). All these new comers did a wonderful job and
are all to be congratulated.
Some members of our Fete Committee are leaving this year. They include; the Avery family (Corn on the Cob), the
Stuart family (Donuts), the Chanter family (Fairy Floss) and the Dooner family. All these families have been great
supporters of the Fete over the years and we appreciate all the time and effort they have given.
The success of our Fete comes from our wonderful community of families at St Paul’s who support one another and care.
Congratulations to everyone who baked, donated, knitted, sewed, volunteered on a stall, helped set up, take down and
clean up. It was an excellent effort. Remember, we always welcome new comers. Don’t be shy next year when the call
goes out! Jump on board— it’s a great event to be part of and truly rewarding.
