This training program includes strategies for private sector growth and strategic business management program to help small and medium enterprises to develop and expand their business in a sustainable manner, promote business linkages between large enterprises and SMEs so that they can take advantage of opportunities created by the industry of mining and oil, and allow better interaction between business leaders and government officials. The Minister of Industry and Trade, Armando Inroga, highlighted the importance of this training that will provide knowledge and skills to promote private sector development: "We hope that participants will finish this training with the capacity and tools to contribute to the development of the Private Sector in Mozambique " . In his turn, the President of CTA, Rogério Manuel, praised the initiative by ensuring that: "Small and Medium Enterprises in Mozambique constitute the majority of the national business class, that is why it is with great enthusiasm and honor that the CTA is honoring today the launch of international training programs for the sustainable development of the private sector and SMEs." The main objective was to participate in the implementation of important events of the CE - CPLP, which celebrates its 10th anniversary of existence this year. Among the events in Lisbon, the inauguration of the offices of the General Secretariat of the CE - CPLP held on January 27 and headed by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal, Luís Campos Ferreira. These important meetings helped define the strategy of the organization for the year 2014 and approve the entry of 40 new members of the CPLP countries, but particularly Mozambique and Portugal, result of a large efforts undertaken by the Mozambican presidency. And the following Portuguese companies: - Banco BIC Português SA, - Banco Millennium BCP, - Galp Energia, - Amorim Holdings Group, - Visabeira Group, - Tensai Group, - Eurico Ferreira Group SA, - Caixa Geral de Depositos, - Mota Engil Africa. They were received by the President of the CE CPLP, Salimo Abdula, at a welcome lunch on January 28, 2014. The new members cited the strength and fighting spirit of the CE - CPLP as the main reasons for joining. Thanks to this spirit, companies prosper in the Portuguese-speaking community as well as across borders. The 5-day mission ended with a dinner sponsored by Visabeira and attended by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal, Luis Campos Ferreira, Executive Secretary of the CPLP, the Mozambican Isaac Murade Murargy, António Schneider, consul of the Republic of South Africa to Portugal, the First Lady of Cape Verde, Ligia Dias Fonseca, Ambassador of Mozambique to the CPLP, Faizal Cassam and other representatives of the diplomacy of the CPLP. The dinner was preceded by the launch of the book of the Mozambican journalist André Matola, entitled "Entrepreneurial Life and Vision of Salimo Abdula", which won the praise of the Executive Secretary of the CPLP and Isaac Murade Murargy. The First Lady of Cape Verde has also stressed the importance of family effect on the success of a large company , as evidenced by the success of Salimo Abdula.
