S INCE 1987
Every bag of chips began somewhere, but ours began with someone. Miss Vickie wanted
better chips for her family, so she decided to make them using potatoes fresh from her
family’s third-generation farm in Ontario, Canada.
In her kitchen—where work was respected, family was loved, and honesty was a must—
Miss Vickie used simple and flavorful ingredients to create a delicious snack approved
by four of the hardest-to-please taste testers around, her kids.
In 1987, she sold her first bag of chips at the Alliston Potato Festival. It didn’t take long
for them to catch on—Miss Vickie soon began to receive hand-written letters from people
near and far who loved her chips, and she took the time to respond to each note.
Her passion, dedication to others, and hard work were the driving forces that made
Miss Vickie’s® such a beloved brand.
Today, as more people discover the farm-fresh taste of our Miss Vickie’s chips,
