ANNUAL SUPPORT CAMPAIGN OUR NEED FOR FUNDING The YMCA of the Northwoods is a nonprofit organization committed to providing affordable, high quality programs, services and facilities to the local community. However, program fees and membership dues alone are not sufficient to cover the costs involved in keeping rates low, offering assistance to low income children and families and continually expanding and improving our programs and facilities. As a result, we rely heavily on private donations to help us meet the growing needs of the community while maintaining affordable rates. All funds remain in the community. NON-PROFIT CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION The Y is a non-profit Christian organization open to men, women, and children of all ages, races, religions, incomes, and abilities. Anyone requiring special accommodations or financial assistance to participate in a Y program or activity should call us. mind, and body. SUPPORT OUR ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN The Annual Giving Campaign raises funds to support youth, family and senior programs. Without these critically needed gifts, many of our programs would not exist today. Donations are received year round and make it possible for us to: • Enable low-income families access to camp, childcare, aquatics and sports • Offer stimulating activities for seniors that allow them to socialize and enjoy excursions • Offer enriching programs to all ages that allow growth in spirit, mind and body • Funds LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA MAKE AN ENDOWMENT GIFT A contribution to the YMCA of the Northwoods endowment fund signifies an investment in the organization’s future, and ensures that children, families, and seniors will continue to benefit from our programs and services for years to come. Through their foresight, endowment donors solidify the Y’s greatness for tomorrow by establishing a firm gift today. 111 Abbie Cline, School Age Childcare Director, Stephanie Ruckheim, Wellness Director, ext. 109 ext. 113 Dan De Lisle, Membership Director, ext. 108 ext. 130 Diane Zarembka, Early Childhood Director, MISSION To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
