Avoca Gold Au-Cu-Zn Project
County Wicklow, IRELAND
West Avoca looking towards the Goldmine River
Avoca Project
•
IMC Exploration has recently acquired
the exploration rights to four licences
that include:
– The former Avoca Copper Mine
– Kilmacoo prospect that was
identified by Riofinex (subsidiary of
Rio Tinto) in the1980s as having a
resource of at least 300,000t at
1.5g/t Au.
•
Highlights of previous exploration on
these licences include drill
intersections of 8.3m @ 10.1% Zn,
5.7% Pb, 0.48% Cu, 284g/t Ag and
10.0m @12.95 g/t Au.

Avoca Project Overview
•
The Avoca Project Area is mineralized over
a strike length of 8km centred on the Avoca
Mine.
•
With its history of mining, exploration and
research, the area is geologically well known.
•
Previous exploration has demonstrated the
potential for Gold and Base metal discoveries
with the applicability of many modern
exploration techniques.
•
In line with its corporate strategy, IMC can
fast-track to drilling high priority Gold and
Zinc targets.

Kilmacoo Project Area
• Kilmacoo prospect was identified by Riofinex (subsidiary of Rio
Tinto) in the1980s. A resource of at least 300,000t @ 1.5g/t Au
was determined.
• Serial sections from the north-east show the setting of the
mineralization and the extent of drilling.
• Drilling for Au & Zn is immediately justified down dip of hole KG-3

Recommendations
IMC have a fully costed program of work following a recent
review of the Avoca licences. Recommendations for future
exploration include:
• Review of IP data
• Acquisition and interpretation of airborne geophysical data
• Geological review and assessment
• Geophysical testing, including10km of deep-seeking IP
surveying
• 6,000m of targeted drilling.
