urphy Builders has been in Gallup for
over 27 years and we continue to expand
our technical resources, equipment, and
certification and training programs. Our construction company has an extensive portfolio that includes many private and public sector projects
that include educational, bank, medical, recreational, retail, restaurant, and industrial facilities.
We are committed to contributing to the Gallup
Community through donations, volunteer services, educating and training the local workforce,
and building exceptional projects.
Murphy Builders attributes its success to dedicated management, a skilled construction team focused on quality workmanship, safety measures,
and support from the community. We strive to
continue this success by using state of the art
technology available for planning, designing, and
scheduling projects. Our management team utilizes their talents and experience to implement
ideas and solutions that assure each project
reaches its fullest potential.
Rick Murphy is President of Murphy Builders Inc.
Rick was born and raised in Gallup, NM. He
started the construction company in 1987 after
obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology, with Minors in Economics
and Business Administration, from New Mexico
State University. Rick directs all operations of the
corporation and has 27 years of experience in
commercial construction management and real
estate development. Rick has excellent management skills, is able to develop a successful project from the planning stages to the development,
and has extensive knowledge of real estate and
business financial operations.

results. Teamwork is important as we work with design architects and engineers to achieve
