TMAV-AWSPCS Tower Mounted Amplifier Variable Gain
TMAV-AWSPCS Tower Mounted Amplifier
Variable Gain Dual Band AWS/PCS w/AISG Re-inject
General Description
Westell’s Variable Gain Dual Band AWS/PCS Tower Mounted Amplifier
(TMA) with an AISG connector is an ideal solution for optimizing LTE
cell site performance by improving base station reciever sensitivity.
With the TMAV-AWSPCS, operators will see fewer failed connection
attempts, fewer context drops, expanded coverage area (critical for
VoLTE), and increased uplink data throughput; all in a compact, highlyreliable, and cost-effective package. The TMAV-AWSPCS provides full
band operation for both the AWS and PCS bands, and with its diplexed
BTS port, it is ideal for sites where feeder cables are shared.
To support all types of deployment environments the gain for each
B90-TMAV-AWSPCS
frequency band on the TMAV-AWSPCS can be independently adjusted
from 3 dB to 13 dB in 1 dB increments using AISG 2.0. Additionally the
TMA supports control of Smart-Bias-T RET Antennas via AISG reinjection on the Antenna port eliminating the need for a separate AISG
cable; thus improving reliability and costs.
