TTMAV-700C Tower Mounted Amplifier Twin Variable Gain
TTMAV-700C Tower Mounted Amplifier Twin Variable Gain 700 MHz Upper-C w/AISG Re-inject General Description Westell’s Twin Variable Gain 700 MHz Upper-C Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA) with AISG Re-inject output is an ideal solution for optimizing LTE cell site performance by improving base station receiver sensitivity. With the TTMAV-700C, operators will see fewer failed connection attempts, fewer context drops, expanded coverage area (critical for VoLTE), and increased uplink data throughput; all in a compact, highly-reliable, and cost-effective package that supports one full sector. To support all types of deployment environments, the gain of the TTMAV-700C can be set in 1 dB increments from 3 dB to 13 dB, using B90-TTMAV-700C AISG 2.0. Additionally the TMA supports control of Smart-Bias-T RET Antennas via AISG re-injection on the Antenna port eliminating the need for a separate AISG cable; thus improving reliability and costs. Features & Benefits Model Number • B90-TTMAV-700C Frequency Range • 776-787 MHz (Uplink) • 746-757 MHz (Downlink) • Advanced, balanced LNA design • Variable Gain 3-13 db with 1dB steps • Automatic LNA bypass ensures network availability • Superior performance, with one of the lowest noise figures in the industry; < 1.4 dB at 13 dB gain • High receive isolation; > 90 dB • High adjacent channel rejection; > 55 dB • Supports full 11 MHz of the 700 MHz Upper-C frequency for Block Diagram both receive and transmit • Supports both AISG 2.0 and Current Window Alarming (CWA) • AISG re-injection on the Antenna Port for control of SmartBias-T RET Antennas eliminates the need for a separate cable • Separate AISG connector for control of non-Smart-Bias-TRET Antennas • Includes AISG 2.0 software download • Twin configuration supports one full sector in a single enclosure • Highly-reliable design with MTBF of over 2.5 million hours Page 1 of 2 w e s tell .co m TTMAV-700C Tower Mounted Amplifier Rx Specifications (per RF path) Tx Specifications (per RF path) Frequency Band 746-757 MHz Frequency 776-787 MHz Insertion Loss 0.35 dB Noise Figure @ Gain (dB) NF Return Loss > 18 dB 13 1.35 Power Handling (CW/PIP) 500 W / 5 kW 12 1.39 Passive Intermodulation -110 dBm 11 1.44 Total Group Delay (max.) 70 nSec 10 1.51 9 1.58 Electrical Specifications (per RF path) Power Consumption 180 mA @ 12 VDC 8 1.68 Surge Protection: DC path 8/20 us 10 kA pulse arrester 75V, and 1.5 kW TVS 33 V 7 1.80 Reverse DC Voltage Protection -30 VDC 6 1.95 Lightning Protection Internal shorted stubs 5 2.12 4 2.32 3 2.59 Mechanical Specifications Size (H x W x D) 9” x 6.7” x 8.9” Weight 28 lbs.
