ASCADA,™ Atronix Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition,
is our own HMI and middleware platform. It brings a new level of
simple, scalable, affordable flexibility to the controls environment.
Its robust, modular design makes the system easy to customize and expand. Whether you’re
using it for a small project or a distributed configuration running your entire facility, you get a
tremendous amount of functionality at surprisingly low cost.
You pay no license fee at all if you’re using ASCADA as part of an Atronix project. Even if
you want to use it commercially, the license fee is extremely affordable. Just as important,
ASCADA is known for its proven reliability. Whether it is material handling or some other
industry, ASCADA has been operating successfully in these demanding
environments since 2001.

ASCADA extends the reach of controls engineers far beyond the PLC. Thanks to its
unlimited scripting or ladder logic engines, ASCADA lets your engineers write custom
services on a Windows PC with very little additional training. The services are easily
deployed and do not require anyone to be logged in to run.
Outstanding training and support
for your team
You get free access to the ASCADA video and document
library—the same one that Atronix engineers use.
We also offer affordable, instructor-led training. The
training is available in person at our Atlanta office or
online through GotoMeeting. Either way, each student
receives a full-length, unedited video of the class on DVD.
The video includes both the instructor’s display and the
accompanying audio.
Standard business-day or 24/7 support contracts are
available for all ASCADA integrated systems and
commercial software. Depending on the plan, you get a block of hours to use as you
wish. This could include technical support, custom software development or training.
Travel expenses are not included in the contract and non-emergency requests are
scheduled. Contract customers also get private,
encrypted messaging and file sharing.

ASCADA systems protect against server failures
and allow updates and modifications without
ever shutting them down.
• Primary or primary/backup server
configurations with optional hot failover.
• Hot failover from primary to backup server
means that the primary server can fail and the
backup will take over with very little disruption
to your process.
• The ability to hot-swap code in running
services means that you will never have to shut down a service to make a change.
Powerful security and protection
All HMI and service-to-service communication is encrypted over the network.
Different security methods and strengths are available including AES and RSA.
Users login to the HMI using standard ASCADA security or optional
Active Directory authentication.
