A Little Piece of History
Altomonte’s Italian Market offers the best quality of meats
available. Opening a market was a natural thing to do because
since age 12, Mike worked at his father’s butcher shop in his
hometown of Calabria, Italy. After moving to the USA, he and his
wife, Frances opened Mike’s Meat Market in Germantown in 1971.
Ten years later they relocated the market to Warminster. Today you
will still find Mike, along with his brother, Ralph providing excellent
cuts of meats served up in traditional old-world style.

that is minimally processed and allowed to hang in the
cold dry refrigeration for an allotted amount of time.
This allows for Dry Aging of the Beef to produce meat
