The one fundamental quality that runs through the Chandler 4 Corners line is… Quality!
Is that confusing? (Don’t you love English?!)
In these pages, we take some time to describe how we achieve that quality, how we are
wedded to it. We elaborate on our materials, designs, craftsmanship—even down to the
smallest finishing details in which we take such pride.
The descriptions woven throughout the catalog offer a window into what is behind all the
pretty pictures, the distinctive products. It’s like having an “elevator speech” on what sets
Chandler 4 Corners apart.
We also ask for your help in this endeavor. If you ever have any comments or questions
about our products, don’t hesitate one minute! Call either of us right away. We are always

Design—The verdant hills of Vermont,
the snowy mountains of Utah, the bucolic lakes and high peaks of the Adirondacks,
the salt-soaked seashores of Nantucket and Cape Cod—all these (and more) inspire
designer Laura Megroz. Likewise, her home studio is teeming with small muses that
spur imagination. With an artist’s ease, she turns her impressions into strong, simple,
captivating designs that tug at the heart and bring out smiles.
Laura has been our design champion for more than a decade at C4C. Her talent is
at it’s most irresistible when she is interpreting memories and transforming them
into warmhearted scenes. Laura works in a treetop-level studio on a hill in rural
Vermont, looking across the meadows and valleys to Stratton Mountain’s far ski
slopes. When not in Vermont with her husband and yellow tabby named Cheddar,
she travels the country observing people and what delights them.

has the desirable characteristics we look for in nearly everything today: it is naturally
renewable, biodegradable, recyclable, energy efficient, and sustainable. Wool requires only
very small amounts of energy to produce (mainly sunlight to make the grass grow for those
fabulous sheep). Furthermore, wool retains its good looks for a long time—you can count on
your wool goods to last. Happily for all, wool is also naturally fire resistant.

Halloween display of C4C products that made us all smile. We promised the best
entry a spot in the catalog and we are happy to give The Miller House its due.
“It’s a wonderful example of merchandising our products,” said Henry Chandler
adding, “we always love to see the imaginative ways people find to create displays,
and Brenda Miller put her interior design skills to great use here.” The Miller
House has been a Chandler 4 Corners customer since 2002 and we are proud to be

Dyes & Hooking—alluring colors and nimble hands—
pull our pieces together. The complex structure of wool invites color to be drawn and locked into the very heart of the fiber.
Our rich, muted colors come from bespoke dyes which are our proprietary recipes. Our colorways are keenly determined
and the focus of much pride here.
Each hooking design comes to our small factory on a paper template which is then stenciled with chalk onto the hooking
base. Highly skilled craftspeople—most of them have been working for us for many years—do the intricate hooking. They
know our high standards and embrace them with hooking that strives to be evenly looped and precise.
