Baby Watermelon Plant Easter Flowers Brighten King Place Tulips, Daffodils, Hydrangeas & Lilies to Make us Joyful The week before Easter brought us tones of colour. All of our beautiful flowers help us forget the snowy conditions that Easter sometimes brings and to focus on the bright cheery days ahead! Wyevale Central Public School Interviews Mr. Oberman’s Grade 5/6 class from Wyevale Central Public school came for an exciting visit at King Place. These 10 and 11 year old students were excited to learn about biographies first hand– and they came prepared! Each pair of students had a list of biographical questions for one of our residents– and our residents provided some insightful answers. The students have been working hard to turn those answers into a report, and are now working on their best copies to share with us. Some students have remained in contact with their interviewee by email and even had additional questions for them. Shuffle Bowling Easter Flowers Brighten King Place On March 28th in a game against 5 other worthy opponents, Mr. Fontaine scored 3 strikes in a row! This is believed to be a King Place Shuffle Bowling first, and we are proud to have such a dedicated and fun group of shuffle bowlers. We groan together as often as we cheer together, and we are happy to invite anyone interested to a game on Mondays at 2:00 in the Shuffleboard Room. See you there! After the interviews hot chocolate with whipped cream and cookies were enjoyed by all. Tulips, Daffodils, Hydrangeas & Lilies to Make us Joyful The week before Easter brought us tones of colour.
