Fanos was founded in 1998. Professional aspect of our company is made of experts from traffic sciences,
electrical and computing engineering. As a result of the given combination, Fanos offers it's own
products, solutions and services in the domain of automated traffic regulation.
FAN2000 is a microprocessor based traffic controller which can drive
32 independent signal groups (base configuration), 48 vehicle detectors
and it can simultaneously be a master controlling unit for coordinating
other traffic systems. It's modular design enables easy upgrading and
maintenance works. Overhead processing power makes it easy for the
FAN2000 to conduct other tasks which are required by modern traffic
management standards.

Surveillance centre is a software suite mainly
developed for surveillance and control of a series of
FAN2000 based systems connected with a network called
FAN-NET.

Fast adapting to all traffic conditions
vDET video system for traffic detection is a system which uses video cameras as a
source of information about traffic activities. Acquired information is sent to the traffic
control system. Fanos vDET can also be used to transport live video feed to a
monitoring centre.

Alongside with FAN2000 systems, Fanos
manufactures an array of additional
systems:
All of our products are designed with the rule of
backwards compatibility, in a way that our systems
are easily upgradable on existing systems of previous
generations.
Pedestrian touch button, besides it's
primary function, it can be equipped with
an acoustic signal and touch reliefs to help
blind or visually impaired people.
Traffic counter by default is a part of any
FAN2000 system. However, it can be a
standalone device based on vDET video
system, or any other source of traffic
detection.
Dimmer is a device made for adjustment of
light intensity of LED signal heads in
different surrounding light conditions. It
works with FAN2000 systems, but it can
also be used with systems provided by
different vendors.
FAN2000 systems are also compatible with newother
generation
controllers
provided
by
manufacturers, because they are IP-ready and
support modern industrial networks and protocols.

Fanos is specially involved in development
of custom based solutions by request of
our clients. These solutions include
complete hardware and software
development and integration of the final
product into existing systems. Our speed
in finishing those tasks is a result of our
experienced professionals.
High demands on stability and safety of
traffic systems resulted with a special
proprietary protocol. That protocol is used
for communication between Fanos
systems, and it provides a solid base for
uninterruptable and fault-free operation of
our FAN-NET network and systems. Also, all
our devices are IP-ready, which easily
enables connectivity with fiber optics,
wireless networks and Internet.
Administrating such networks is done with
our Surveillance centre.
MISSION
Fanos is never at ease. Our future products involve new solutions, embedded systems
that utilize modern technologies and combine them into traffic systems. Industrial
computing, advanced algorithms, thermovision cameras, licence plate recognition,
vehicle identification, intelligent data aquisition and learning, neural networks..
Possibilities of systems connected in FAN-NET network are
numerous. With standard options such as changing traffic
plans, maintenance access etc., we provide advanced
options. Some of those options include creating and
managing VIP routes by request of one or a group of
vehicles (public transport, police, ambulance, fire trucks).
Every FAN2000 system can be directly controlled from a
place where Surveillance suite is installed. With
integration of vDET video system, live video feed can also
be provided, which makes an excellent congestion
management system.
