SALES TAX:
DROP SHIPMENTS:
Shipments are subject to state sales tax unless the required
paperwork is completed prior to the time of sale. Requirements
vary from state to state. Your sales person will assist you.
CBI is pleased to provide drop shipment service for your
customers. However, a $5.00 handling charge will apply.
Signatures will be required. Any additional charges are the
responsibility of the customer. This may include but not limited
to refusal charges, signature required, liftgate delivery,
residential charges etc.
CUSTOM ORDERS:
CBI will build to your exact requirements. Custom work will
require written approval and/or drawings. Quotes and delivery
information are usually available the same day. 50% deposit is
required. All deposits are non-refundable once production has
begun, or custom parts have been ordered, including special
orders of non-catalog items.
VERBAL ORDERS:
CBI strongly encourages written Purchase Orders from our
customers, however we understand that in some cases this is
not possible. When placing a verbal order, the salesperson will
read it back and confirm all details. However, once placed, any
discrepancy in the written sales order will be the responsibility
of the customer. For this reason, we encourage the customer
to approve a fax or e-mail copy of the sales order, to avoid any
such discrepancies.
PAYMENT TERMS:
Prepay Note: All New customers must complete A New Dealer
Application.
COD Cash / Certified Funds COD Company Check Requires approval of completed New Account application. A
$30 NSF fee will apply to all returned checks. Customer is
liable for any and all reasonable collection fees on unpaid
checks and past due open accounts.
Credit Card - Visa, MC, Amex, Discover - Requires
cardholder's signature on file. CBI keeps all customer
information confidential. A processing fee may apply. Third
party Credit Cards will not be accepted. For your security, CBI
maintains strict data storage security measures.
Open Account - Net 30 days - Requires approval of
completed Credit application.
Wire Transfer - A bank fee will apply International Orders special terms and conditions apply - consult our credit
department.
WARRANTY:
CONSUMER: Standard cables are guaranteed for a period of
10 years against defects in material and workmanship.
Warranty items may be returned prepaid to the factory without
prior authorization. Proof of purchase must be enclosed with a
description of the problem. Imported finished products,
including all products listed on pg. 29 have a 90 day warranty.
DEALER: Defective standard cables may be returned prepaid
to the factory, and will be replaced with new cables on your
next order. Some items may be repaired instead at our option.
Abused products will be excluded from this guarantee.
PRIVATE PACK / IMPRINTING:
CBI offers private label / custom packaging to our dealers and
distributors. Minimum orders apply, and custom packaging
materials must be prepaid by the customer. Custom imprinting
on heat shrink is available on a minimum order of 20 pieces.
There is a .25 per piece Print charge to each cable for this
service. Begin Model # with "P-”
RETAIL PRICE:
Retail prices are suggested only, and are meant as a guideline
for the dealer. Restrictions may apply for national ads and the
internet.
RETURNS:
Prior authorization is required. CBI will not accept returns from
shipper without return authorization number. Call with any
problem. All standard returns for credit are subject to a 20%
restocking fee. All custom products and special order items are
non-returnable and non-refundable. Customers must notify
CBI within 30 days of receiving any order discrepancies.
SHIPPING:
All orders are F.O.B. from the factory in Oriskany, NY. CBI will
choose UPS or FedEx Ground unless specified. Other options
are FedEx, Postal, and common carrier truck (required for
150+ lbs). Customer is responsible for all additional charges.
Residential delivery, refusals, incorrect addresses, lift/gate
charges etc.
RUSH ORDERS:
Expedited orders are CBI's specialty. However, when
additional production or shipping costs are incurred by CBI on
rushed orders, they will be passed on to the customer as an
expedite fee. You will be advised of any such fees before the
order is processed.
REFUSALS:
Customer is responsible for all freight costs incurred for a
refused order. This includes the original shipping and the
return shipping. Refusals are also subject to a restocking fee.
LIABILITY:
All prices and specifications subject to change without notice.
CBI will not be liable under any circumstances for
consequential, incidental, special, or exemplary damages.
CBI's liability will be limited to the repair or replacement of a
defective product.

In-ear monitor systems have become a standard for
touring musicians, most commonly utilizing a small
rack that holds all of the wireless transmitters, signal
processing, and a rack mount mixing board. The
stage microphones and instrument signals need to be
split to feed both the performer's system and the main
sound system.
C.B.I. has developed a splitter snake that will fit
perfectly into this type of system. The all-new
EarSplitter can be built using only two rack spaces
which split the signal to both monitors and front of
house. The EarSplitter is available in 16 and 24
channel configurations catering to in-ear customers.
The trunk lengths can be customized along with
options such as isolation transformer and ground lifts.
The EarSplitter design is simple and portable for any production considering in-car monitoring.
