This was the 25th annual Tupper Lake Tinman Triathlon, in Tupper

This was the 25th annual Tupper Lake Tinman Triathlon, in Tupper Lake NY,
which is situated in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate NY. I participated with
family and friends; it was great fun, and an experience I will not soon forget. We
had a love/hate relationship from just prior to the sound of the start. The weather
was perfect for a race, 55 degrees at the start of the race. But who wants to get wet
when it is only 55 desgrees out BRRRRRRRR.
The Adirondack Mountains are beautiful- “and mountaneous” – so why is it that it
did not occur to me that I would climb for at least half for the 56 miles that I was
on my bike?
Not only did I have family members also participate as a team- and place in their
catergory. We had 37 other members of our family on hand at the race to cheer us
on. Next year we are planning for more teams!!!
