Micore 300 Board is a superior substrate that offers outstanding resilience, excellent machinability,
high “k” factor, heavy density and best surface hardness of any Micore board. Its smooth surface,
particularly when sanded and coated, laminates easily with various finish materials such as vinyl,
fabrics, and steel. It readily accepts water- or solvent-based adhesives.
Micore 300 is:
• More than 50% lighter than Gypsum panels and almost 50% lighter than particle board
• Better than Gypsum panels in workability and sound absorption
• Better than particle board and other wood fiber boards for flame spread index* and sound
absorption
*Micore 300 meets Class A Burning Characteristics per ASTM EB4 (Flame Spread index of 25 and
Smoke Developed Index of 20).
Micore 300 improves the quality and performance of applications such as:
• Fabric and vinyl-covered wall panels
• Office dividers
• Chalk boards and many other applications
• Tackboards
