Miles McPherson is the Senior Pastor of the Rock Church and author
of Do Something! Make Your Life Count. He is also the founder of
DoSomethingWorld.org, which unites churches, governments and
organizations across the globe to be a catalyst for change in their
own communities. The Rock is one of the largest churches in the US
and home to over 100 outreach ministries. In 2010, the Rock Church
donated 228,000 hours of community service to the City of San Diego.

1825 offers two separate gatherings (one men,
one women) for cultivating community and
meeting needs, and supporting your walk with

toward a person who was down on
his luck. He saw impoliteness. He saw
a devaluing of human life.

Anthony decided to do something
about society’s invisible men and
women. And it started by grabbing
a blanket and a bit of courage and
going to sleep under the stars. Lying
flat on his back on the concrete, his
purpose suddenly got vey clear.
