The high crime rate is a growing concern for residents of Trinidad and Tobago. The University of the
Southern Caribbean is taking the initiative to get involved in the efforts to reduce the crime rate by
promoting the adoption of good morals and values.
Link Up for Life is a campaign that seeks to bring about this necessary change in Trinidad.
The positive values espoused by the University of the Southern Caribbean are central to the campaign.
These values are as follows:
Love
Competency
Compassion
Justice
Integrity
Purity
Honesty
Self-control
Excellence
Humility
The campaign will culminate in a week of activities involving stakeholders in social reform, the youth
and the general public and will highlight the various values that can bring about change in Trinidad and
Tobago.
