Camera
In the video there is one shot used throughout which is cleverly changed through
movement of the actors in the video. Giving the effect of different shots being used in
different points to give the video a different feel in certain places.
This is the opening shot of the video, this is a
mid-shot as the actors are positioned in this
way in the shot. This is a very effective
opening shot as it gives the audience an
instant connection with the people in the video
as they are close to the camera giving an
intimate feel.
This shot is a different to the first as this is
now a long shot this was created through the
actors moving back away from the camera
leaving the camera remaining in exactly the
same place. This shot helps to show the
audience the whole thing so they know
exactly what is going on.
This shot is a different type of shot as it is now
a close-up this gives a different type of feel for
the audience as it is now a more intense shot
as the singer is positioned right up to the
camera. This shot has changed again without
changing the position of the camera.

This is a two-shot, this is a different type of
shot but the camera still hasnʼt changed as it
has still remained in the same place.
This is the final shot in the music video. this is
a wide-shot, this shot is again changed by
movement of the actors rather than movement
of the camera.
Overall throughout this music video the camera stays in exactly the same place and
the actors in this video move around the frame in order to change the type of shot
in the screen which is a very clever use of the camera.
Sound
In this music video their was no diagetic sound used at all. The only sound for this music
video was the non-diagetic meaning the music was dubbed over and correctly fitted to the
video. This helped to ensure the good sound quality throughout.
Editing
In this music video a very clever technique was used, this was the fact that they only used
one camera shot and the actors moved around to change the frame. This meant that no
editing had to be done as it seems to have been done in one take rather than sections
being filmed and then put together in an certain order by an editor.
Mise-en-scene
In this music video there was not much mise-en-scene used as it was all filmed in the
same area. The room was decorated in a certain was to make it look like a bedroom and
was not changed throughout.

50 Cent - In Da Club
Technical Video Analysis.
Camera
The opening shot of this music video is of
a desert with a car driving through the
middle, this is took as a high angle wide
shot. This is a good shot as it establishes
the surrounding area as to which the
music video has been filmed in therefore
making the audience feel instantly
involved.
The next key shot is of the artiest 50 Cent
in the frame this is a mid-shot but the actor
in the shot is upside down therefore giving
the shot a very different feel for the
audience.
The next shot is a close up of the actor this
helps to give the audience a more involved
feel in the video.
Throughout the remainder of the video there are a varity of shots used for example there
are wide angle shots these help to show the audience the surroundings of the video so
they seems aware of what is happening. There are other shots used such as close ups
these help to create an intense feel for the audience. there are also other camera
techniques used throughout such as panning and tilting these help to change the
perspective and view point of the audience.
Editing
Throughout this music video there are no real editing techniques used. The main edit used
is the cut to and from scenes this helps the audience to feel the fast pace of the videos the
directors wanted making the video flow at a certain pace and not take long between
scenes.
