 En tiempos de convergencia (In Times of Convergence) Second Meeting of the Latin America and the Caribbean University Radio Network -­‐ RRULAC Newsletter The Second Meeting of the Latin America and the Caribbean University Radio Network (RRULAC) will be held in Bogota, Colombia, at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana on coming October 2, 3, and 4. RRULAC, the Colombian University Radio Network (RRUC) and Javeriana Estéreo Radio Station organize it. The RRULAC, founded in November 2009, currently groups networks of Argentina (ARUNA), Chile (REUCH), Colombia (RRUC) and Mexico (SINPRIES), and radio stations of Brazil, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela, with more than 190 stations of 140 regional Higher Education Institutions. The event is addressed to: • Writers, researchers, producers, directors and managers of radio stations belonging to the RRULAC. • Scholars, teachers and students in the fields of communication, journalism and other related social disciplines from institutions of higher education in the region. • Journalists and media professionals. The agenda of the meeting includes lectures, panels, workshops, presentation of academic papers and a radio contest. Conferences and Panels • Communication for Peace.
