INGENIUS
When simplicity and budget matter.
The InGenius range of gel documentation
and analysis systems are compact, easy
to use and offer an affordable route to gel
capture and analysis. Using many of the
features found on the higher specification
Syngene systems, the InGenius is available
in two versions.
InGenius applications
Both models use the same innovative
darkroom. Camera choice enables pixel
resolution up to 5.5 million pixels.
They are cost effective because they

With InGenius you can use the UV
transilluminator to capture images
of DNA gels stained with Ethidium
Bromide, SYBR® dyes and many
other probes
offer a range of flexible options.
Each system includes GeneTools analysis
software.
Choose from two configurations:
Blue light applications
The blue light converter allows
you to view some fluorescent stains
with better clarity and with less
gel damage
• InGenius L - entry level
• InGenius LHR - extended resolution
Visible light applications
With the transmitted visible light
or using the epi white light facility,
InGenius can be used to view gels
which have been stained with silver
stain and Coomassie blue. You can
also view tissues, slides and films
AutoRads
InGenius features a mega resolution
camera which is ideal for capturing
images requiring high detail. This is
especially true when looking for
‘separation’ between bands and
spots. Capturing high quality images
of Autorads is one of the strengths
of InGenius
