With incredible Niagara Escarpment shorelines, sandy beaches, ecological wonderlands and superior festivals, this is an excellent immersion into Canadian town life. Wiarton is also home to the famous “Wiarton Willie”. Each February 2nd, known as Groundhog Day, Willie is coaxed out of his hole amid festivities.
