Parking Spaces
This month we have begun to repaint the common area parking spaces beginning
with Section 2 located near Belcher Farm Drive. These areas will be painted per
the parking plans established previously by resident parking committees and
approved by the Board at that time. These parking plans were predicated by a
court ruling that all common area parking must be fair and equitably distributed
amongst the residents of Sully Station 2.
As this process progresses, we will be sending
notices to those sections affected giving a timeframe
for the work to be done. We ask that all residents to
assist in this process by following any instructions in
the notice including parking 24 to 36 inches away
from the curb so they can be painted effectively and
efficiently. We appreciate your patience during this
process.

Take a Day and Remember
As the anniversary of September 11 approaches, our thoughts are once again with all those who lost loved
ones on that tragic morning. We remember the names, faces, and lives of the men, women, and children who
were killed, and look for ways to ensure that each and every one of them is not forgotten. As we commemorate
here at the Memorial, we invite you to join us in remembering September 11 and all that this day means.
There are numerous ways to participate in the annual
commemoration and one of the most powerful is
performing acts of service in your communities in
remembrance of the victims of 9/11. When you choose to
commemorate the anniversary of 9/11, you are playing an
important part in memorializing those who were killed,
honoring the sacrifices of the first responders, and
remembering the spirit of unity that emerged in the
aftermath of 9/11.
However you choose to commemorate this anniversary,
thank you for joining us as we take a day to remember
and honor.
Warm regards,
Joe Daniels

Did You Know

September

September in the Northern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent
of March in the Southern Hemisphere.

In the Northern hemisphere, the beginning of the meteorological autumn is
on the 1st of September. In the Southern hemisphere, the beginning of the
meteorological spring is on the 1st of September.

September begins on the same day of the week as December every year,
because there are 91 days separating September and December, which is a
multiple of seven (the number of days in the week). No other month ends on the same day of the week as
September in any year. This month and May are the only two months to have this property.

September (from Latin septem, "seven") was originally the seventh of ten months on the oldest
known Roman calendar, with March (Latin Martius) the first month of the year until perhaps as late as 153
BC. After the calendar reform that added January and February to the beginning of the year, September
became the ninth month, but retained its name. It had 29 days until the Julian reform, which added a day.

It is the start of the academic year in many countries in which children go back-to-school after the summer
break, usually on 1st of September.

The equinox named the autumnal equinox in the northern hemisphere and the vernal or spring equinox in
the southern hemisphere occurs on dates varying from 21
September to 24 September (in UTC).

Shakespeare did not mention September in any of his plays.

September is the only month in which share prices have more often
fallen than risen.

September is the ninth month and the only month with the same
number of letters in its name in English as the number of the month.
